I do agree it is far too long, but cutting rooms would ruin the "corruption arc". Is it possible to make a "faster" variant of existing traps that is basically a shortened timer? I.e. it plays all of the relevent animations but it's shortened to 20 seconds per trap

Great work with the new Verdant Tentacles, The Victim Sprites look like they took a lot of work. The only thing that i think is missing are reskins of a few of the traps. Adding those schould give mod users more interresting ideas for dungeons.

The easy ones to reskin schould be:

Sticky Tentacle Slide +XXL

Tentacle Grass

Probably harder ones that would fit are:

Bulb Trap

Suspension Trap

because of the many bugs, I took some time to smash them all at once instead of spamming new uploads

fixed (probably, hopefully):
-factory mission can now be finished  (last 2 rooms can be accessed now)
-valve wheels in the factory mission are more visible with background striped warning blocks to stand out more
-tentcus should work now (no more bounce back to ship)
-meatblob should now drop real items and no perfectly generic placeholder
-deco victim in questhub is no longer destroyable
-new tentacle fibre plant should have an icon now

-enable random breeder object in shop menu

>just re-download and replace

 

if there are still bugs of high importance/crashes that need immediate attention please tell me and I will work on them

it was a new dungeon in the oasis biome, instead of "petrified_karmor_statue" it was just called "petrified_karmor" in the dungeon files *has been fixed now

not much I can help you with there, we would need the previous log where the error occured originally because in the log you provided I can't find an issue with the ttpp tentacle planet but you have one, you could try deleting the planet file and regenerating it

I'm a bit of a layman, how do I delete a planet? And here are all the logs I found (sorry for my English)

In one of your logs you have 183 Errors...

 

I think this was the critical one but I'm not sure:

[Error] Exception while handling variant rpc request handler call. (JsonException) Cannot call get with key on Json type null, must be Object type

do you have the base more planet info mod? it is needed for the MPI patch or it may cause crashes

 

To reset and regenerate a planet in Starbound:

  1. Go to the Starbound/storage/universe/ folder.
  2. Find the .world file for the planet you want to reset (look for the most recent modification date or use the planet's coordinates).
  3. Make a backup if needed, then delete the .world file.
  4. Relaunch Starbound and revisit the planet to regenerate it.

This will reset the planet, but all modifications or items will be lost unless backed up beforehand.

frackin universe and most things sexbound are kinda uncompatible now, not through anything sexbound causes, but iirc apparently the author of frackin universe is inserting something like "anti-sexbound" code. though i may have the details wrong.

it also looks like some of the things (log 5 related) have been removed. theres a mod its trying to call the recipes from called "modboobs"

-you may also (possibly) have forgotten to get a mod for the patch you downloaded (I see you have the ttpp - MPI patch, but i cant see if the log is loading More Planet Info)

-I see the spawnable items patch but not spawnable items loading too.

other then that i don't think i see any other bad errors.

I have no clue how to get this working ive been playing starbound only a few days was looking for mods and found this, did everything it said in the first section like put all that stuff into the mod folder then craft a "tentacle prime" in a inventors table, but I cant find anything called "tentacle prime" so I downloaded that spawnable items mod and tried to use that but any time I click any of the items from the mod they just have no icon and it says no item has been selected so I cant spawn anything? Does anyone know how to fix this?

you place the .pak file into your /mod/ folder

just from your description I would say faulty mod placement, for more information we would need your starbound.log file

in your log file we can see if you have even installed it for example

Im using old mods and only updated ttpp and sb reborn, also created new character, but now planets have strange generation: high tier planets(volcanic, scorched, midnight, alien) generate with some low tier biomes like desert/forest(garden?). Sometimes planet absolutly normal, but most of them with forest biom. Also looks like that low tier biomes always(?) generate with dungeons or mini dungeons from ttpp.

That is strange and should not happen just with our mod. I suspect you have other mods that lead to this behavior.

TTPP does spawn in those biomes but we have nothing that forces those biomes onto high tier planets.

There are numerous other mods that do what you complain about like FU, Difficulty Expansion or More Sensible Secondary Biome Distribution, if you provide your starbound.log we can further look into what those other mods may be.

WELL, i checked wiki and its says tier 6 planet have secondary biomes as forest or desert,etc. Damn, i was 100% sure i haven't tier 6 biomes like forest/desert on my old character.

Hey, I've found a space dungeon with bad gravity. When you approach the ship you are pulled to the bottom of the screen before you can see it. I was only able to get to it by moving away from the ship far enough and then flying over the top and then down, where the gravity pulled me down to the ship, again before it was on screen. I've attached a pic of the ship in question.

Thank you! I really did forget to add foreground layer for correct gravity around the ship. It will be fixed in the future.

Been a long time. I admit that I had an eye on this mod years back but didn't see much yet was nice; however, I see quite some improvements and additions now, hope there's more to come, especially for content on girls! I'm liking the addition of "traps" around to get caught up in, hoping to see lots more! :)

One problem though was when I saw a "summon tentacle creatures" item and placed it on a planet area, nothing spawned... also curious, how do I find a lot more actual tentacle dungeons? I really want to see a first one to mess around in!

The spawner needs wire input, think of it like redstone in minecraft, something like a lever or button and wire it up to trigger the spawn

They only appear in basic vanilla game planets but also underground and in asteroid layer. If you want big tentacle dungeons I'd suggest doing the missions and the questhub or perhaps spawning in dungeons via admin menu.

You should encounter plenty by randomly visiting vanilla content planets and biomes. I hope you enjoy the mod!

Yes you should have a mission in your sail. Are you perhaps using FU or some mod that changes the vanilla sail view? That is a common issue just simply go to the options and set view to vanilla sail and the mission should appear!

If this does not solve your issue, please provide your starbound.log so we can figure it out.
