CommunistNinja Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 I'd have a look at the .net framework crashlog and guess that it says something about wolf pups. If that's the case, then it's Skyrim Immersive Creatures. You will have to unpack the mod's .bsa, run it's assets through Cathedral Assets Optimizer, and repack it into a new .bsa. You will also have to run the official update patch for that mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18639?tab=posts). In the comments for the official update, there is a guide for how to clean the original. Also, you'll have to turn off the creature spawns in the mod's MCM. It's those goofy-looking wolf pups that kept crashing my games over and over. Anyway, that's where I'd start.

As stated in the OP, "...we get near wolfs then bang." If immersive creatures is trying to spawn its goofy wolf pups (because they are getting near the wolves), then try turning off those creature spawns in immersive creatures. Why would this matter, if it's LE or SE?

Why would this matter, if it's LE or SE? Because CAO is a SE mod as is the mod you linked to. Because lots of people, including myself, run SIC and do not have this problem. Because crashing in that area is quite common and is rarely if ever anything to do with 'goofy wolf pups'. Because SIC for SE is different to the LE version to the tune of 100MB.
