On my WIP Viera Race.All in all,I'd say the race itself is roughly 50% done (I am being pessimistic though).

 

What remains actually,is fine-tuning the meshes (heads mainly,Charismoon of the nexus already has my alpha version of it which she works on,though there IS a need for more feral limbs) and textures,I suck at both.(on top of all,my Nifskope broke,slightly).

 

 

The race itself is playable at the moment but there are still things that I need to do...(like,remove quite some vanilla hair,because I went overboard and the stuff I mentioned above)

Mega thanks for this (japanese,who would have thought)...but they don't feel quite right as the main race has longer ears.Though I can make use of it.

 

 

On another note....japanese,y u so hard to learn (not used to ANY asian alphabet).

Use google translate browser plugin to translate pages for you. It's what I use with chrome to translate the pages of most sites that are not in English.

It is chinese. I would rant on this, but I'll do that in my blog later on...

While yes,I agree that chinese and japanese are different languages,to me they are the same >.<

I don't see the similarity between either one other then both use lines to make up their characters but that is where it ends. Most Japanese characters are simple made of 4 lines sometimes a few more lines while Chinese characters are complex and use a ton of lines to make each of their characters. http://www.chinese-tools.com/characters/alphabet.html very easy to tell the two apart http://www.linguanaut.com/japanese_alphabet.htm

Yes,but considering I do not see any asian labguage very often (apart from arabian)....

 

Also,I meant similar in difficulty to learn.(Not that much to speak,but to write and read)

depend if japanese use the kanji (kanji look heavy similar to chinese) but in other way , katakana and hiragana is very unique for japanese

(i practice japanese a little and i be helped when i was go in japan vacation, helped by an ARC academy student^^ very help me a lot)

All that remains are unique feet and hand meshes,though both can be achieved by using Khajiit ones.

The problem with making the Viera is that they have different incarnations.In FF:TA games,their feet look normal-ish with longer claws on both feet and hands,while in FFXII,they look like they have digitigrade feet which are completely different to human ones,closer to rabbits I'd say.Same applies for the ears.In TA,they depend on skin color and have some tuftthings on their ends,while the XII ones are more simple,but depend on hair color.

 

 

 

As such,my Viera will be like a mix of both,with XII ears and TA limbs lol

frankly, i really think viera can be cool on skyrim, specially with tropical skyrim , sort of big forest with viera and elf everywhere ! lol ^^

 

can found viera everywhere, in fallout,oblivion (one of the best viera in this game) and skyrim
