[mod] Character Body Overhaul

Recommended Posts

I runned both CFP and CBO perfectly until today. Now I can either use CFP or CBO. Otherwise I get a crash report when starting. Reinstall the CBO CFP compatibility mod, but still not working (And yes i have the CBO Patch for Bastion)

No Idea why its not working anymore and I´m helpless.

Was there maybe an Update for CFP?

you need the previous version v3.1.5 - 08/09/2022 - 1.7.0 - Bastion https://wiki.communityflavorpack.com/pages/releases

together with cbo cfp compatibility pack + cfp cbo quickpatch

Open the MOD file and replace the "Leo" with your PC username

Notepad worked for me, at least.

Nevermind. I figured it out. Anybody who wants the giant leaf removed: delete .asset files from the vanilla folder with the game (not the mod folder with cbo, the actual game folder). It is located in gfx/models/portraits/attachments/male clothing/western/secular/nudity1

and

gfx/models/portraits/attachments/female clothing/western/secular/nudity1

Also, in do the same in the cbo mod folder (the path is the same).

i am using the younger marriages mod, i am getting giant leaf even when there's no event or is_naked flag on them, i have 1 .asset files in base game folder and 2 in the locations that youve given, ive deleted them but it still persists. what else to do? what do i need to do with aging gene file?

it seems to work fine without cbo, so it's definitely got to be somethin in cbo

Has anyone else ever had their game soft-lock when trying to save with this mod?
I can't save at all with it, the game always softlocks, and I don't know if it's something broken or just the size of the replaced character models.

if you are using physical attributes, don't.

EK2 gonna release soon and here I am hoping this mod gonna work although it might not...

Personally having problems running both. Spent a few hours with the load orders, but no dice so far.

Thing is, I have no problems rolling back CK3 to a previous version while waiting for these mods to be updated.  It takes time, I get it.

However, Steam workshop and the people working there will update their mods and not offer any rollback compatibility at all.

Which means that if a stick with an old version so that the LL mods keep working then all the rest of my non-LL Workshop mods will stop working because they require the latest version.

In the end I'm forced to choose between the two or wait however long it takes for the LL mods to catch up and honestly by that point I've completely forgotten what I was even doing in my saved campaign because I haven't even opened it in months.

I know there is no real solution to this, I just wanted to vent.

To be honest there is a really a easy solution to this. Once in a while when you have a stable patch where everything is working, you can just make a backup copy of your mods folder. That way if with a new patch if mods are not updated at the same rate, you can just rollback the game to the patch where things were stable and copy paste your stable working mod folder and play. Not ideal sure, but completely workable.

I used to do that for ck2 years ago because I had a build of ck2 where my favorite total conversion mod, Lux Invicta was also compatible with a bunch of other smaller mods I liked on the steam workshop. That way whenever I was itching to play Lux Invicta and it had been 8 months since the last update which was 2.5 patches ago I could just rollback, paste my folder and play.

Im probably talking out of my ass but judging from some CTD logs, there are conflicts between the character model assets of EK2 and cbo. this is unsurprising, but at the very least carnalitas works.

Carnalitas mostly works for me, but I'm also seeing some issues with it as well. From what I've seen, whenever it is loaded after EK2, it messes with the UI and prevents you from using the rituals from from the character screen and using the spellbook as well.

That's resolved by loading EK2 after, but that also comes with some other issues. I can't seem to create new religions at all(causes CTD) and in some cases, a CTD occurs from simply opening the religion screen.

I you've been able to run them both without issues, I'd love to see the loadout.

Anyone have an issue where the physical traits no longer affects the appearance of characters?

I am, and the custom character creator suddenly doesn't have the option to actually customize anything beyond vanilla now either.
