Guest user29 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I subdivided the overcoat before doing anything because it was blocky but I didn't even get that error message. Thanks for taking care of it.
Evilrunner Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 Look good anyway, sometimes a level of subsurf makes a massive difference to quality. You seem to be cranking meshes out pretty fast, starting to make me feel lazy
Evilrunner Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 I just had a thought related to Skyrim, It may be possible to set up a lattice that automatically deforms any 0 weight cloth mesh you assign to it to a 1 weight. Had a bit of a go with some simple stuff, but might actually take this further  [Edit] Just a quick example I cobbled together, body mesh is the CBBE body set up with a shape key that morphs it between 0 and 1 weights, while the lattice has a similar shapekey designed to deform the top.  The two screenshots are basically a 0 weighted and 1 weighted version, with the 1 entirely created using morphs.
Guest user29 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Lady outfit is coming along nicely. Â Also randomly came across that nice face you use in some of your outfit modelling pics.
Evilrunner Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 wow, the face I use in renders is actually zoey from left 4 dead, not got it in game. Would love it though
Guest user29 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 oh damn, I thought it was this one. I'm using a jill port.
Evilrunner Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 Still looks awesome  I might ask around how you get custom heads in, although I imagine it's a ton of work.  Still like that outfit, just seems to work well with the pregnancy.  [edit] Just tried looking for the Jill head, seems to have vanished from the internet, unless I missed something obvious
Guest user29 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 it's the second youtube video if you search jill valentine race  I like it but I'm having a hard time matching the face to a body skin tone.
Evilrunner Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 Just looked at some of his stuff, really love his stuff already. Â Thanks for the info, you're awesome
Guest user29 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 his "soap" face is pretty great, I'll likely use it whenever I play a male.
Evilrunner Posted June 5, 2012 Author Posted June 5, 2012 Just noticed skyrim seems to have a sex framework up. Wonder how long until people start getting stuff out  Put up a new P4 as well.
Guest user29 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Thats good news. Last I knew, they couldn't add animations. Though with how big skyrims modding community is I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way around that. Will have to look at your p4 later.
Guest user29 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 I think that just about did it. The right breast has just a couple more spots that could be cleaned up if you want. Also you can see the lines (grooves?) from behind on the belly when the characters running. I think p5 and p6 has this problem as well but you managed to smooth those out. You should do the same thing here. Attached a pic to show. It is... distracting to say the least
Evilrunner Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Smoothed out some of the weights on the P4, not been able to test in game though.
Guest user29 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 messing around with weights. I kinda like the system but I can see how it would be a nightmare to get something exactly how you want it. I'm making a pregnancy set using the bnb body. I can put it up if you want to play around with it. I doubt it'll be good enough to let everyone use it.
Evilrunner Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Isn't BnB just the type 3 with bouncing breasts? Â I'm not a fan of weighting, not something I'm all that great at really. Can just about hack stuff together in it P4 is up on dropbox by the way.
Evilrunner Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 ah of course. Tried it a while back, but I think I prefer the Type 3 Cali. Still would like to see your progress though.
Guest user29 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I've tried doing it before but because i didn't try messing with the weights before now it never animated in a semi coherent way. Its looking really good this time. Â I'm open to suggestions if anyone sees a way to improve it.
Evilrunner Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Done a bit more fiddling with Skyrim meshes. Got a 0 and 1 weight mesh with high poly belly, just looking at size for now. First draft is attached, shapes need work but it's going to be the P1,2 and 3. Thoughts? Bigger, Smaller (as if ) or anything else. Â Your mesh looks good, if you get to the stage where you are happy with it we can put it up as an optional download.
Guest user29 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I'd say the sizes look about right. And thanks we can do that. I'll probably poke around at it for a while until I'm happy with it.
Evilrunner Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Did some more on the P6 as well, just (as usual) a small amount of issue around the bottom of the breasts. Not on Dropbox yet for that reason. Â Going to mess with the Skyrim ones a bit more for now. I should probably post something in the Skyrim section at some point.
Guest user29 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 p4 looks good as far as the boobs goes. Nothing you can do about the ridges? I swear you got rid of them in the other ones.
Evilrunner Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 you mean the sides of the belly? I'll give it another bash. Trouble is most of my weighting can be describes as randomly painting until it works.
