nope its still there, here's a better shot of it maybe?

First pic is the problem and the second one is for you or anyone else that just wants to see the outfit.

I can include the outfit if it helps you see it better. It might be hard to pick up when shes nude.

Its pretty much in between the two. I'd get a different angle but you can only really see it from in front or behind.

I spotted it in blender, part of the torso weighting was a bit iffy. Did a bit more neatening of the area, just going to check that it didn't screw it up more.

[edit]And another is up.

great I'll check it out, also I asked you this a few pages back but you might have missed it, are we good to convert anything by Exeter? They have a ton of nice outfits and we've converted a lot of their stuff before.

Posted

Most of the ones I checked, his permissions are open to others modifying, so once the P4 and P6 are done, there's no reason not to convert.

tried it, looks like you got the front half which was the part that was messed up the worst so I'm good with it. You can try to smooth out the back part if you want it to look perfect but it's not nearly as in your face anymore.

Most probably wouldn't notice it any longer, your call :P

I can try to fix it, but for now no point not starting new stuff for P1-3.

Any idea which exeter outfit you're going to start with?

Posted

I'll call P3 done then. Might get a new changelog started for outfits converted to the new meshes.

I sort of want to get a new system in for making these, hopefully to reduce work for halstrom, and offer a few variations on each outfit.

I'll hold on to my conversions until you figure out what you want to do. You should start naming your body sets so people can choose between them maybe?

Non Vanilla isn't much change, so carry on with that. Main plan is to add all outfits into an ESP before we do a release for Halstrom to merge with SCR.

Aside from that, what I'd really like is a few variations on each vanilla.

P1-P3 with the normal mesh,

P4-P6, bare belly, with the torn outfit if needed (which would need P0-P6 sizes).

P0-P6 skimpy version, basically as much skin as you can get away with.

Obviously a lot more meshes, which is why I want to try and take as much load of Halstrom as possible.

I also want to do a neat checklist of vanilla, so we have something to keep track of outfits.

Also Skyrim stuff :D

I think that with the stuff we've already done out there isn't that much rush though, so just keep converting what we want in our own time for now.

Started a nice new changelog to keep track of what's been updated, turns out it looks horrid in anything that's not Notepad++. Typical :P

in notepad++ try saving it a different way maybe?

lol, it's txt. It's just other windows text editors butcher most files.

Guess it's a lesson against creating over the top stuff for simple things :D

Going to work on P4 for a bit now anyway, more productive at least.

no rush i won't be available for a few days.

Woo, page 100 btw :D

Got a (hopefully :P ) decent P4 up. No rush checking it if you're away, I'm not likely to start converting for a while.

Also want to learn how to make shoes. Want to try and create a nice set of high heels.

much better but I think there's still a little bit of cleaning up under the boob. It's not so much a problem when they're nude but the less of that tearing you can get the less the clothing will get messed up.

Also in the same spot as p3 the other day, p4 has the problem there on the side I noticed it kinda coming to a rather sharp edge again.

attached a pic in pose because the poses just sorta magnify the problems.

I've already got most of them done for a Skyrim version. You could convert these, but it's way more trouble than it's worth, better starting from scratch. Got a P1 and P2 done anyway, P3 is being an absolute pain in the arse. Going to see if subdividing the belly screws up the weight system later, if it does there will probably be square bellies :(

Also continuing in my quest to learn to animate. Starting simplish, mainly an animation Loogie mentioned a while back. Not sure how well it will work as an animation though, scale seems to be a bit of a problem.

Final thing, with regards to egg laying, would people prefer squatting or laying on back? I quite like the idea of squatting, but wanted some other opinions.

That will depend on how you subdivide the belly.

In a sense, the weight system requires that the two meshes be the same mesh, just with the vertices moved. So if your subdividing algorithm is sensitive to the position of your vertices, or if you do not manage to select exactly the same set of vertices for subdivision, you will have to copy and paste your subdivided mesh from _1 to _0 (or from _0 to _1) and then adjust their positions to to make them fit.

If even one vertex is not matched up to its twin, you will have problems. We need better tools to deal with this issue.

Could work that way, gecko and smaller have the player squat, lakelurk and deathclaw on her back. Perhaps one could work on hands and knees too. I suppose the best possible option would be to make all combos, but that's more a long term thing.
