Explanation needed for Devious Devices ( gameplay wise)

So I have everything installed properly so that is not my question. I can not find a manual of how the gameplay of some features work.

For example the Devious Devices page says . "Sex scene support to allow playing animations with one actor locked in the device". How does this work?

I put a strappedo pole on the streets. I can lock myself in it. But how would you use it in combination with animations ? How u lock a NPC in it? How do you delete it or pick it up again ? 

It feels like I'm missing some obvious things here.

I am not an aficionado and it has been a while since I've used it so don't be TOO surprised if someone else comes along and corrects me. As I recall DD acts as a framework, like SexLab or ZAP. That is, you, the player, don't use them so much as mod makers use them. Then you use the mod that the mod maker made (sorry for the alliteration) and get the benefit of DD. So, look at the mods that use DD, find one or more that appeals (if you're new you may want to start with just one) and add it to your load order and enjoy.

As Paslam said, you dont use them, an Author uses them. You cant really do much with them by just installing them, even when you spawn their stuff through console

 

SL Scenes and more complex Scenarios (this includes locking a random NPC into this Furniture - and "locking" the thing in first place) are things you cant do by typing a few things in the console 

You need mods that do that for you

 

 

As for furniture, as far as Im aware, "Deviously Cursed Loot" is the only mod that uses those in DD thus far. If you want proper Furniture mods, you need to take a look at ZAP & mods that use ZAP

Devious Lore works in a similar to Deviously Cursed Loot.

Deviously Cursed Vortex Autosort is something different entirely.  ?
