Maybe you misplaced the files, or you didn't run FNIS after extracting? And i believe vanilla animations are in bsa. type file, which I don't have any idea how to edit it, or even take it out of the package.

No i just looked at all the individual hkx files in the download and a lot of them are the same as vanilla.

Do you happen to have an animation mod that could overwrite, with active esp. file? My animations don't need esp,  you just run FNIS after extracting them and then profit. Sorry if I'm not much helping here.

u dont understand, I have a tool to open hkx files to view them and many of them are vanilla animations.
