Sadly, the scripts work (usually fairly well) for me. Sometimes the ai feels like stalling for like 30s or so, but apart from that, they seem to be doing what they should.

 

All of you who experience these problems: have you tried watching the game for 60s to see if the ai starts moving again (no rest/wait, and no save/reload)? It's still a serious issue, but at least then I'd know I'm chasing the same problem as you are.

 

My theory on why save/reload works is that this forces the ai to start up. If this is the case, I know what the problem is.

 

 

Also ... kind of a strange question, perhaps, but does the mod work for anyone but me? ;) I don't release something unless I think it'll work, so it's been tested on my setup.

 

If you're having issues, try a save where my mod has not yet been loaded/enabled (pseudo clean save, I guess).

Tried  in a new game too. Unfortunately the problems persist from v3. Always have to save and reload for it to clear up and proceed, only during the part where you enter the jail cell. After unequipping your items, you just move a bit before coming to a halt, and you have to reload. Plus the guard just enters the cell after waiting for more than an hour and just stands there, the punishment scene not triggering.

 

 

I use Fuz Ro Doh, which is why the dialogue doesn't show up for you. It forces subtitles automatically and so on. I'll add it as a dependency.

 

In V004 you should be free to walk around and follow the guard. Technically, that means you shouldn't be blocked from moving after you unequipped your stuff and the guard starts moving toward the cell. After unequipping and having prisoner clothing equipped, can you move?

 

Do you have anything in your log (located in your Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Logs/Scripts/Papyrus.0.log) which seems suspicious. I name all my objects in this mod xpo<something> so you can search the log for xpo. This should normally be at the end of your log, if the last thing you did was try to trigger the punishment scene.

Two issues:

One, the mod requires Fuz Ro Doh. The readme fails to mention this, but I'll add it from now on.

 

Two, can you control the character at any point when walking to the cell. This was one of the changes from V3->V4, so I'd expect you to have some ability to move around.

 

 

 

I'll try to add a better description to the readme to make all these things clear.

to move from 2 to 4 it took me completely restart the script with an attack and an investment in position 4

Thanks! This explains your problems in a fairly easy way.

 

What happens when you save and reload at picture 5? Did your character start moving again?

Definitely an excellent mod in the making here, xaz. I too have the same problem as many others, however. I've tried in Riften and in Whiterun with new characters and old saves. The best run I've had, I managed to get escorted to the evidence chest, clean out my inventory and be equipped in the rags, then go into the cell. Once I got there I had to save and reload to get the door to lock. As for the punishment, I can't make it happen. I've tried save and reload, waiting upwards of two minutes, and I've tried moving around in front of the guard, and none of these methods can get anything to happen for me there.

Like I said, great mod! I hope the problems can get sorted out soon and I can actually play through the game with it on and no worries about bugs popping up.

Yes, i can freely walk around, but sometimes the ai toggle to walk me around automatically occurs. I unequip my items, and suddenly the ai controls me and it gets stuck, with the awkward guard-standing-there scene and me unable to move. At that point i have to reload the save to be able to move.  As for the papyrus log, ill run the mod and try it once again and check, since my logs have been cleared since my last test.

ok, ive tried "evp" on the guard, savin and reload, "player.unequipall", loaded mod ona new save and this time i didnt even get into the cell. keep gettin stuck at the property chest. the first time i did get behind bars and visited by the guard...that was it. waited atleast 5 real time mins, nuthin else happend. even movin the esp up and down in the load order didnt help. thats about all i can think of to do, i really hope this mod can get goin. good luck

Thanks! I think what you just typed sheds new light on the situation. I'll try and uninstall Fuz Ro Doh and see if that messes up my game.

 

Tried it. Missing Fuz Roh Do definitely messes things up like most describe.

 

To sum up ... 

Try installing Fuz Ro Doh http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14884 and see if that helps.

The guard still walks into the cell then stands in place. I've tried waiting a few minutes and save/loading but it doesn't seem to fix him, and no dialogue has ever played from him at that point for me, both before and after Fuz Ro Doh.

Do you have anything in your log which starts with "xpo"? Anything close to labels with "xpo" which looks like something is broken? (Typically something about "None" and "not possible" or "can't", etc). In a "normal" skyrim log there are a few of these, but it'd help if you found something weird in your setup.

 

There is no dialogue so Fuz Ro D'oh isn't the issue.

Nice! Installing Fuz Ro D'oh along with the version 5 update made everything work without a hitch, punishment scene included :wub: . Thanks xaz  :shy:

Hi,

 

 
Updating and additional mod corrects problem white run.

is it normal that the camera is set at the scene of bondage?

we remain "stuck" in the cross after the BDSM scene (solves a jump), is this intentional?

after the departure of the soldier we are naked (clothes of prisoner not in the inventory of PC)

Did you use the picture 9 to change the area?

Whether I did the same for the other prison.

Everything is now working as intended. Fuz ro D'oh fixed the stuck scene before entering the cell, and now the punishment scene triggers. Although, the camera gets stuck and you cant move it at all, even with TFC, and after the scene, your prisoner rags are gone.

Oh and i copied the textures for the whip marks from paradise halls, but it doesnt show though :s

But nonetheless, the mod is functioning brilliantly in this latest update. Great stuff !:)

Hi xaz,I just want to say thank you for an excellent prison mod,i installed Fuz Ro D'oh and your latest update V005,and it works briliantly,my character just spent a day in morthal jail,where she recieved a regular beating,i also found that positioning her against the wall facing the jail door gives the best view while she is being punished.

I must congratulate you on a truly great mod,please keep up the great work

Just got Dragonborn so im starting a fresh install with everything i've added the prison overhaul so ill try it out and report back.

 

Edit Update: Tried the mod first without Silent Voice. Everything works fine till inside the jail when nothing happens, toon just stands there in front on the chests with guard at the side and then nothing.

 

With Silent Voice this time the guards tells to remove clothes but then nothing happens.

 

Tried again had to use the 'player.unequipall' command and the rest fired off properly uncluding the whipping.

 

 

Not sure the Cross is the best one to use though perhaps one of the stocks would make more sense.

I installed Prison overhaul last version, and Fuz ro Do.

 

I got the same of these "problems"

-Can't move during punishment scene, even with tfc. I set my camera angle before the guard entering the cell to see....hum, that yummy scene! :D

I noticed too the prisoner rags are gone.

 

But every other part of the mod works perfectly. Road to the cell, the strip, enter the cell, and the punishment per hour works perfectly. I installed "Paradise halls" in order to get the whip wounds and IT WORKS FOR ME!

 

I was able to recover all my stuff and my clothes, everything is OK, now. Just some minors adjustements and the mod will be perfect. Congats again bro, it's a great work!

 

I just woner if, as punishment is part of the zaz pack, you can add a "random punishment", with cross, pillory, etc... But as I said, it would be a minor option, your is already awesome! Thanks again!

Excellent mod, just tested and everything works as intended, I think. Just one suggestion (that was already made some posts ago by other user): It's be cool if the punishment was "random", sometimes the cross, then another object, sometimes just kneeling, etc. Inmate and guard whoring are in future plans?
