The game does sometimes refuse to load for me as well but after a couple tries or a PC reboot it does load eventually and once it's loaded, it is stable. Try moving the mod about in the load order, I personally have it placed 3rd from the bottom, or doing a binary search (turn of half of the mods and try to load the game, if it loades, turn all mods back on and turn off the other half, then half of that and so on until you find the mod that doesn't like Demonic blood) to find the mod it is incompatible with. Or send me your load order so I can take a look at it.

The included file is a mod order I use so I know it (somewhat) works. Exported with Irony mod manager. The 'My mod' mod contains just some GUI fixes, no scripts/functionality. All the 'ugc_XYZ.mod' mods are from the Steam workshop, if you want to download them to do your own testing, get them at https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=XYZ .

A simple screenshot would have be easier to read. ☹️

This latest file got me to the menu screen with all my mods still active. It's 10 at night here so I'm not going to start a new game and I don't want to mess up my current game so I'll have a dabble tomorrow. ?

Been playing for a couple of hours on a new game and everything seems okay. ? Having said that, I'm not entirely sure what the original mod does apart from provide you with tons of prowess. It doesn't seem to add anything you can actually use or do. Time for a re-read of the description page.

It's quite a lot, although most are just numbers go up. Just look over the lifestyle tree. It doesn't show in the tooltip but the final lifestyle perk gives immortality.

That's partly my point. Things like immortality where you have to go through three full trees and probably more than one lifetime to get something that is available whenever I want to start it with 'Waters of Life'. The very idea of getting immortality in your 'next life', i.e. your successor getting it, seems slightly ridiculous to me. This way of doing things also effectively ties up all your regular perk trees for the duration.

To me it would have made more sense to get the immortality early-doors then start to acquire and build up your other demonic traits etc over time.

I run either Regula Magistri or Daughters of Lust and they both offer pretty much everything Demonic Blood does and more plus they have an actual effect on the game world.

I appreciate what was done to get the mod working but the original mod just isn't for me.

Last i checked daughters of lust only works fro female player characters... and that regula magistri isn't very interesting to me. I literally only use this mod for the rebirth ability. If i could find another one with that ability i'd download it in a heartbeat.
