sagimine1 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Today I decided to reinstalled Skyrim and explore the newest there to offer. Unfortunately I ran into an issue. The issue has to do the with my main character and npc are in default standing position. Might be a mod that is causing this but cannot seem to pin point the exact culprit. Hopefully someone might be of a help with this issue.
sagimine1 Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 Just as the title stated, my character and the npc stays in one position as their moving around. All of the animation such as walking, running, sitting, etc are none exist.
Just Don't Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 The behavior files are broken or weren't properly updated after adding custom animations. Install FNIS, add it to your mod manager if you need to and use it. When it's done check the text it gives you and if you have no warning or error lines go in game and test if animations play normally now. There are plenty of videos about how to use FNIS for each mod manager (as some steps may change), so check that. The instructions were also in the fnis description and I assume you at least have it installed because it's a requirement for pretty much any adult mod (animation ones specially).

No way dude, first thing you need to do is change your filter underneath you mod list(left pane) You want No Groups. Do that then run loot and we can get you going.

His MO is broken right now, might find problem there?

I don't use categories/groups so no idea if that affects how the mod files are used/loaded once the game launches (I think it doesn't, and only affects how the left panel is displayed). I'd totally fix how the left panel looks so it's functional and easy to manage, but the issue at hand seems to be a lack of proper use of FNIS.

Can't tell nothing with way LO is presented Yeah, looks like an incorrent FNIS install (as Grey Cloud points out, fnis name is gray and has an X flag which means the file path is not valid) , so even if OP attempts to use it it won't work. This is install and setup to use FNIS properly, I think it's up to date so MO interface should be the same you'll see.
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 If ever in doubt, and im sure link left above is great stuff, my goto for MO related stuff is Gopher or GamerPoets. You can search youtubes with those names and they make great MO related videos.

I am using MO2 and it look you have to set the set the directory not once but twice. First time is on FNIS Behavior main directory right after <data>. The second one is on the Data Directory. If you have done both correctly the red letter at the bottom will turn green. First is Blue box, second is orange box. Last box is the indicator where the red lettering should turn green if successful.
bon51 Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Or unstale FNIS, and wait" and then Reinstal FNIS , Which should be alot quicker than going thro the whole alot of work and stress
