If you have any other non-default skin tones installed many were also broken with the last game patch.

Even some default bodies were broken like [BB] Better Bodies.

Messed up CC clothing will also show up with red/white and question marks.

Same thing here, it's the latest update patch

I just downloaded it (vs uploaded today!) and this happened

Deleted the files from mod folder - problem solved

So you don't use any other mods besides WW?

The proper procedure for testing a mod is to remove all other mods except the one you suspect is broken.

Then delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder.

If problem still persists then try loading a new save.

I went through all of my custom content, and the only conflict was the WW mod, so there must be something wrong with it. I also enable 'Uncompressed Sim Textures' and disable 'Laptop Mode' in Graphics Settings as the change log advised me to. Not sure if its just me or the mod.

I was finally able to get it to work. I enable 'Uncompressed Sim Textures' and disable 'Laptop Mode' in Graphics Settings, and then had to save a file of the family that was affected, delete the original version of the file, and place the new saved family. That seemed to have worked everything out.

Make sure you also hit apply changes afterwards and then exit game or the settings won't always stick.

Next step:

Move all mods to desktop in a temp folder.

Delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder.

Start game and load only to the map screen then do a 'save as' testing or whatever, then exit game.

Delete your localthumbcache again.

Install WW + Animations ONLY.

Now load the new save you just made for testing and try loading your active household/lot.

Just don't make any new saves yet.

I'm thinking some of the old buggy skin tone leftovers are getting stuck rather than getting cleared or reset.

But since there were also other mods broken with the last patch it's harder to pin down the cause and clear it if they become embedded in a game save file.

That would mean having to start a new game might be the only way to fix it.

You can always try loading a previous save before the Dec 7th patch messed up everything.

I'm getting this too.  I know how to use mods, and the only thing that changed between one day and the next was installing the new version of WW.  Nothing else was added, deleted, or changed.  I doubled checked everything suggested and I've never used laptop mode or had uncompressed sim textures anything but enabled.  I always clear caches every time I exit the game.  For now I've reverted back to WW v161c, where everything works perfectly.  I don't have any CC skintones at all.  Any other mod I have conflicting with this new WW update doesn't conflict with v161c.

Hopefully Turbodriver will get this problem fixed before the next game update happens.

Well WW 1.62a is working just fine for me and some others so it isn't broken for everybody obviously.

Same. Mod was working fine (except for weird penises), got update message, downloaded Dec 11th version. Instantly got the white and red clown faces. Had to remove mod from game entirely.

My theory is the new WW graphics settings/requirements don't work on all computers.

Might be certain graphics cards being used or it's settings/drivers.

I'm using a Radeon RX 560 (8gb) without any problems.

This totally worked!

Thank you ;)

After I removed the mod (without saving game), the weird skin textures remained on toddlers, but not on adults. Opening up CAS and reselecting the toddler skin tones fixed the bug. I'm wondering if the same might not work for bugged games. Don't want to reinstall the mod to find out but probably worth testing.

I have done that, as well as followed the rest of the advice given in this thread and the issue is still persisting. It is most definitely coming from Wicked Whims as that is the only Mod I have installed. And no, it isn't coming from custom content as all of that has been removed. The only thing in my game is Wicked Whims and I get this.

I don't want to uninstall the mod because darn it my strip club was really starting to turn a profit and made my 100 baby challenge more interesting.

ETA: I decided to completely uninstall the Sims, re-install and then try adding the Mod back in. Fingers crossed it works. (Don't worry, I saved my previous game. I didn't spend the last four months working towards 100 babies for nothing)

Last resort if nothing else works switch back to WW 1.61c at bottom of thread.

Then delete your localthumbcache again.
