shazor Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Hey guys, im looking for some sexy but lorefriendly armors like http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15329 or something more revealing like http://blog-imgs-45.fc2.com/k/u/r/kurocuna/d_pr.jpg. I searched many threads here for something suitable but i barely found something good. Most of the stuff i found were just some kind of "strange" clothing/armor or the armors revealed just too much. Maybe you guys can tell me some really good ones

Actually damaged/torn/beat up armor and clothes replacers that occasionally show a boob, etc are almost lore-friendly. I say "almost" because their armor rating or stats aren't reduced.
myuhinny Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Your first link links to Classic Alduin Texture. Wonder how long it took them to hold him still long enough to paint him with green paint. He's way too shiny. There are these ones http://www.loverslab.com/topic/8441-blender-lingerie-armor/?hl=%20lingerie this one has sexy and lorefriendly in the title. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12101this one was just uploaded to modtype.com http://modtype.doorblog.jp/archives/26235234.html there are quite a few other mods on the site some will have dead links so you might have to use the what mod is this thread to locate downloads for them.
Vibe Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Ugh, lore friendly... There's absolutely nothing lore friendly about skimpy armor/clothes in TES. You have to choose lore, or sexy, you can't have both. Because no one in their right mind is going to wear nipple chains as armor and expect to be protected... Unless you're Tobuscus. But he's really not all there. =P (If you don't know what I mean go look up his Darksiders 2 literal trailer) PS: You might want to fix your first link, it appears people are unsmart and don't realize the last number is not connected and sending them to an older nexus mod. Just fyi.

shazor Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 Ohh didnt notice that the link was wrong. fixed it now. but to come back to the topic, of course sexy armors are not 100% lorefriendly and maybe i described it a little bit confusing. im just looking for some sexy armor but yeah well the most "armors" i found were just some clothing (dresses etc.), some stuff from other games or "armors" which looked more like some underwear. urghh its really not easy to explain the exactly kind of armor im looking for......
DrLincoln Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Skimpy /= Lore unfriendly. Lore friendly (to me) means it looks like it fits in the game/period. It may not be 'realistic', but how can you honestly define realism in a game of dragons and wizards? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34160 Looks to me like it could fit in Skyrim, as could this: http://simdaddy.deviantart.com/art/Screenshot21180-361665079?q=gallery%3Asimdaddy&qo=2 Neither are examples of realism, but they 'look' consistent with materials/armors that might be in a tech level possessed by the people/culture of Skyrim.
LaEspada Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 How bout this? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11050 It's what I use, except I use the skirt variant because I really don't like have my char's ass sticking out in the cold all the time. I prefer modesty and great looking armors.
myuhinny Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 There is this one http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14097 There are also a lot of mods if they have a body under them you can make them skimpy. Take the Inpou by Neo http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30416 easily modified to look like this
Shade115 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Well when people question the legitimacy of an armor being lore friendly or not... don't forget about Dibella and her followers (To keep beauty and protection these revealing armors make some since) that and what if the female wants to look good to attract males but still not be vulnerable to a blade... but Nipple Chains? most likely not.

LTD Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I'm in the camp that agrees that you can't really call anything in a game with magic spells, elves, wizards, dragons, undead, undead dragons...you get the picture, "unrealistic". There's really nothing at all besides the combat style that has anything to do with real medieval history. The very nature of the game is FANTASY. Is there any really good reason that fantasy can't evoke the 'barbarian cycle' movies of the early 1980s? "Deathstalker" and "Sword & the Sorceror", lol...so bad, but that's some good stinky cheese, you know? That said, yup, I sure do like my skimpy options, and I prefer them to look like they aren't too far out from the vanilla game (not so into latex here), mainly meaning the textures used. Here's what I've found so far (I use the main UNP body, but some of these are available for other bodies too): Hmm What To Wear is the place to start. Brokefoot's UNP Mashup adds even more options. Remodeled Armors UNP version very nice replacer for the vanilla armours. Take a look in the comments section for links to a standalone and a pantyless patch. Those are the main three I use. They don't overlap, since there's only one replacer. As an additional option, even though it hasn't been updated in ages, you could check out: You Call That Skimpy? it's another replacer, but it does do a lot of the civilian outfits. You can always do what I did and install this first, then just overwrite with the 'Remodeled' stuff. Oh yeah! For the magic users: The Art of Magicka some really nice stuff in there! Hope those links help. EDIT: I just found this little gem: A Sexy Little Apparel Replacer and be sure to check out the creators other mods. They have some crossover functionality!
shazor Posted April 3, 2013 Author Posted April 3, 2013 Hmm these replacers are not bad and i downloaded a replacer for CBBE and its pretty cool but i want some armors which dont look like the vanilla ones. Something like the Silverlight armor would be cool if you guys got something like that.
