lazman's Female Outfit Replacer - Fusion Girl 1.75 Bodyslide WIP

Taken down as requested by the maestro himself.

Sorry lazman. I didn't think that by updating this to FG 1.75 I was stealing your work. I credited you and your mod was a requirement.

But since it's your work that I used I respect your wish.

I should have asked and waited for an answer before releasing this here.

Well, for all things lazman and Fusion Girl please look here instead:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38562

I'll move on and convert some CBBE armors instead.

But I'll definitely ask the authors before releasing it here.

Doesn't exactly align with my own modding philosophy (where this is all one big happy communist family of perverts who share the same common goal to give everyone what they want and don't expect more than being credited ... unless they use Patreon or something like that I guess), but this is not a hill I want to die on either. So there you go.

edit: Actually lazman never accused me of stealing. He just wasn't okay with me not asking first. In any case I'm done with this project so please go to nexus for updates on FG1.8 bodyslide conversions for this.

This actually is quite a relief for me tbh, I buried dozens of hours in this and I think I rather would like to convert vtaw outfits or something like that now instead of just offering an alternative for something that's already there.

hey, thanks for these! btw, was wondering if you've seen anyone making standalone/craftable versions of this mod?  you know, so my slutty sole survivor doesn't have to work so hard to stand out.  I mean if every slutty wastelander out there is wearing the same slutty outfits she is, how she going to get the boys to spend all their hard earned caps on her?

Edited:

oops, if I'd clicked a few more times I would have found that lazman555 already did a standalone version.  thanks!

You know what's really weird?

The high heels version I linked to actually somewhat works for Fusion Girl 1.75 despite being older than the main download of the same FG conversion (which is broken for FG 1.75).

My theory right now on why that is:

Spoiler

ZaZ Extended Skeleton 2.0 was released in June 2019 and was probably used for lazman's own FG conversion (July 27th).

The high heels version of the conversion made by hmmjon was released on July 7th, so I guess he used ZaZ v1.0 instead (maybe not enough time after the ZaZ 2.0 update).

... So outfits made for ZaZ 1.0 are somehow compatible to ZaZ 3.5, but outfits made for ZaZ 2.0 are not?

So if some Fusion Girl outfit mod is broken for ZaZ 3.5 then you could try an older version of it (the outfit mod, not ZaZ), maybe that works.

edit: Otoh you don't actually have to use the installed ZaZ skeleton in Bodyslide. You only use the FG body which is weighted for bones from the skeleton. So it has to be an incompatibility with FG 1.61 and 1.45, but not with older FG versions.

Someone please confirm if outfits made for Fusion Girl pre 1.45 (before summer 2019) still work together with FG 1.75.

Only the ones with a body inside matter because everything else should still work anyway, no matter which FG version.

edit: If you use this high heels version you better delete the SliderCategories, SliderGroups and SliderPresets folders.

They have no reason to be there and overwrite updated versions of these files with more/other sliders.

Seems like hmmjon didn't add zap sliders though and there are other severe clipping issues with that alternative FG conversion, but it has high heels.

I really don't want to use this though, lazman made a FG conversion himself and I would expect that he did a better job.

Also the missing zap sliders for stockings, panties, bras etc. and body parts that are covered are a problem.

But I will see about the high heels.

Wait a second...

This isn't working for you guys, right?

My edited Fusion Girl body preset is linked to in the slider files:

Quote

<Shape target="FusionGirl" DataFolder="FusionGirl-VagAnusMod">FusionGirl</Shape>

I believe that I have to add it to the download.

Give me a minute, I will fix that.

edit:

A little bit of testing tells me that it was in fact working and the body files are not needed. I don't understand the entry in the slider data files then but ok.

Outfits made for fg 1.45 not working with fg 1.75 just because they miss reference from SliderSets/ZeX-FusionGirl.osp (FG 1.75 now have SliderSets/FusionGirl.osp)

If you will download FG 1.45 files from nexus - you will make old outfits work

About HighHeels version - when I saw how foot is deformed in this heels my eyes started bleeding.

I enjoy and use this outfit replacer but I hate heels version. Maybe something like this can be used as heels https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42684

That easy? ?

I will try this, thank you.

The outfits still need to be updated anyway. Most of them are missing a dozen or so sliders. And 3 bone breast physics don't work for them either.

Very nice. I'm looking forward to all outfits being made with this.

Un-bodyslided lazman meshes make the waist sizes stupidly narrow like Barbie dolls

Thanks again for the tip.

I tested it and with FG 1.45 overwritten by FG 1.75 you can indeed build all of lazman's outfits.

I will continue this though, there are a ton of clipping issues and missing sliders in the original mod.

A little correction though: It's not the slidersets file that is missing, at least Bodyslide doesn't seem to care about that.

What it cares about is the Fusion Girl shapedata files (tested it by deleting the files from FG 1.45 piece by piece). These and the folder they are in were also renamed.

The reason this breaks the armors in Bodyslide is this btw:

From the osp sliderset file of one of lazman's outfits:

Quote

<Shape target="BaseFBody" DataFolder="ZeX-FusionGirl">BaseFBody</Shape>

... a lot of pointless other shit ...

<Slider name="Belly Pregnant" invert="false" default="0">
            <Data name="BaseFBodyBelly Pregnant" target="BaseFBody">ZeX-FusionGirl.osd\BaseFBodyBelly Pregnant</Data>
            <Data name="FOutfit_1_2Belly Pregnant" target="FOutfit_1_2" local="true">Lazman35_Grognak.osd\FOutfit_1_2Belly Pregnant</Data>

If you don't load a reference body locally like I did with my Fusion Girl vagina and anus mod, but use one of the presets (like the official Fusion Girl) then the slider data for the body inside the outfits is linked to an external file, the osd shapedata file that comes with Fusion Girl.

So the outfit mod is not self reliant anymore and needs shape data files from that mod which have to be named and placed exactly how and where they were when the outfit modder added that body preset to their outfits.

...

Just copying and renaming the FG 1.75 shapedata folder and files doesn't work by the way, I tried it. I guess the name of the shape is referenced somewhere in these files (BaseFBody - old, FusionGirl - new). Or there is something else in there that's incompatible.

I'll update the mod and add the necessary files to build lazman's original outfits as a separate download.

Ok, looks like I need to update this again asap.

I fucked up by including stockings in the zap slider in a few outfits. ?

Like the naked body with lingerie, Cait and Raiderunderarmor.

Also here's few of the things I fix while I'm at it:

fix1.jpg

Nope, that's not the nipple, that's just a borked mesh.

What's wrong in the following picture?:

fix2_old.jpg

And this is what it looks like now:

fix2.jpg

Panties belong under the pantyhose. And no, this is not metal, it's cloth.

Another update, this time with the file hosted externally (Google Drive). Loverslab doesn't allow file sizes above 250MB.

Keep it coming dude yeeeeeahhhhhh ??
Also when you've finished converting everything can you split the mod into smaller zips so it can be downloaded directly from LL?
I just think it would be more convenient

Sure, why not.

And guys, if you find any clipping or other issues please tell me btw.

No clipping in Outfit Studio doesn't automatically mean no clipping ingame. Had to fix the courser outfit weight paints yesterday, they were a little off at the shoulder/back, leading to the skin poking through.

Great stuff here, you are doing the work of god my man. This and the ALSL unzipped vault suit are the two things I miss from the old morph.

Thanks, brother. ?

New version will be up in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

Still thinking adding the heels?:classic_angel:

I didn't forget. But I also still can't promise anything.

First I have to finish this version anyway, there are still 50 or so outfits missing.

Download isn't working.  You have two files, neither are 7z files?

These 2 files are a split 7zip archive. Just open the 001 file with 7zip or with your mod manager. It unpacks the 002 one automatically too.

Damn you're right that it isn't working. Not because of the split archive but because it seems like Loverslab has renamed my file? WTF!

Trying again.

edit:

Now it works. For some reason long filenames with spaces in them are bad? I don't know, this website is weird sometimes.

Thank you. I thought it might be some 7z trick I hadn't seen  yet, but I tried every 7z option and nothing worked! Thanks for all the hard work. These Lazman replacers are my favorite options, and I'm looking forward to them being  done. Too late to retry now. I'll re-download  tomorrow.  Thanks ?  again.

Does this use variable weights? Like showing as thin on some, large on others? Because a lot of people using outfits from this mod are larger than what I have set in Bodyslide, and it carries over to scenes from AAF.
