Firch50 Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 Hello everyone, I installed some new mods a while ago, and I didn't pay attention to it, but since I installed new mods, there are many outfits and armors where HDT physics don't work. I'm using BHUNP body, with HDT physics, not SMP. In fact there are few outfit/armors that still have physics, but the majority don't. Before I installed the new mods, every npc had physics with their outfit/armor. I precise that when PC/NPC is nude, physics works properly on bodies. To "enable" physics now, I need to equip the Havoc HDT item on me/NPC, but it's annoying because before it worked without it. So I seek a way to fix it, in a way to re enable physics without this item, because I can't equip it on every NPC. I obviously ran Bodyslide and built body into it, and it didn't work. I suspect that the mod "Bikini Armor quest" by Babofactory (which add 3BBB physics to all the bikini) is causing this issue, but don't know how, and i'm unsure. I suspect it because when I installed it, I immediatly tested one bikini, and the top didn't have physics... I'm so lost... if someone could help me in any way, I would be very grateful.
Tlam99 Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 BS build with wrong body, wrong selection of clothing or both To prevent such things, press Ctrl+batchbuild to redirect build into a file.
Firch50 Posted October 26, 2020 Author Posted October 26, 2020 Okay, I'm not sure if I understand what you said, I mean, what will it do if I redirect this into a file ?

So you will be able to correct errors, because you do not always overwrite the files in BS directly. e.g. you had a working build, this will not be overwritten if something wents wrong. Idk if you use an organizer, but if so, you just can put the meshes in a mod and activate, deactivate it. Quite flexible than.

That's only useful for MO setups. In manual/NMM (and perhaps Vortex too) the files built in BS go directly into the default file path and overwrite any previous version of these files. And even in MO that's not a necessary step really, by default existing files are replaced in each mod folder, new files are placed in Overwrite (and then the user can choose where to move them or create a new mod from Overwrite, etc.). @Firch50 which mods are these "new mods" that made the difference? Anyways, if you need the havok object now I guess it has something to do with one of these mods. BHUNP has bad fame around here and is a total mystery for me as I've never used. So you may find better help if you're able to pinpoint the mod in question and ask there for help. Or just go back to what you had before when things were working as you expected, idk.

I got different builds for different bodies. If I decide to give this clothing to a different body or zap a part, I just need activate the according mod with meshes, or hide some meshes. If one puts everything into the mod itself, one limits himself or needs build mesh again for one body. The way with mods containing different meshes keeps me flexible.
Firch50 Posted October 27, 2020 Author Posted October 27, 2020 Okay thank you for your tips guys, but i'm not sure about how the Overwrite folder does in Mo2... And the thing that is weird is I've never change the body i batch build in Bodyslide 2, so I don't think it is a Bodyslide issue...
