Rotte boy Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Alright so, I'm trying to get my game working with bondage mods, doing ok so far. however, when I installed all of the essentials for cursed loot and tried to see if the restraints were working, many of them were invisible. I tested to see what was visible and not. Chastity bras and belts, corsets are invisible catsuits. Boots, collars and gloves work. I'm not quite sure what to suspect, I have made sure that the bodyslide build was done correctly by following this guide: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/71481-tutorial-building-dd-items-in-bodyslide-nmmmo/ .Moreover, all of the mods are up to date and have worked before for me. Lastly, I check to see if it had something to do with "hidden devices" in the mcm menu, but that was a dead end as well I am very much a rookie when it comes to modding, so the fault is very likely on me being stupid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Any help is appreciated. dnoah Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Maybe Bodyslide somehow misfired. Now, it should have generated .nif files for every device in corresponding folders. EG, black catsuit is here: \Data\Meshes\devious\mxw_catsuit\catsuit_body_0.nif. Does this file exist in your Skyrim folder? If it does, try opening it in Outfit Studio (File-Load Outfit) or in NifSkope. Is the outfit visible in there? If yes, try in Skyrim console, with naked player char, player.additem a03d2c4 and equip catsuit via player inventory.
Psalam Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 @dnoah has the right of it. Invisible DD restraints are due to a failure of proper Bodyslide building unless and until proven otherwise. This issue has been around a lot and there are threads that deal with it. I know because I've walked people through it with pictures and all. If your current choice of guide seems to have failed you you might want to consider looking for another one.

Image of the folders content: Reveal hidden contents Check Bodyslide's settings. Game Data Path should point to your Skyrim Data folder. Then try to build the outfit DDX - UUNP - MWX-CatSuit or DDX - CBBE - MWX-CatSuit, see if the file appears.
Rotte boy Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 If I could I would kiss you! The game path was incorrect since I moved all of my Skyrim/mod files to a M.2 drive that I got recently. I had considered that this could cause issues and corrected the game path for everything but bodyslide. Thank you very much for your help and patience!
