rilieAP Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 Question, how would one blacklist/exclude a specific NPC or race? There is an issue with Workshop Plus and the fly mode it adds for building. It essentially turns the player into another NPC that can fly when you go into build mode. Then dumps you back into the player when you exit build mode. ROF is either adding overlays when the new actor is spawned and then WS+ is copying them back, or ROF adds them to the player WS+ shifts them back to the player.
leileifou Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 Could it be that since the male body is set to “BodyTalk3,” there are no compatible tattoos, effectively rendering this mod useless for male characters?
Magnum717 Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 Are tan lines ( Wasteland Rad Tan - Tan Lines as Overlays at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) ) integrated with Random Overlay Framework? If so, what category would it fall under?

Kelticknot1 Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 It is most likely, the issue I am having has been discussed here before yet for the life of me I cant find it. I love this mod, I use "Just Business" and before finding this mod I had to add tattoos and pubic hair to each slave. This mod has saved me hours of work for not just slaves but settlers as well. I have done a complete rebuild of my Fallout 4 game as well a complete reinstall of Windows 10 home. I have all my mods reinstalled and all seem to be working well. In my past game when I came across a settler or raider they had random tattoos on them. In my new game this is not the case. I have gone through the MCM settings many times and believe I have everything set the same as I did last game. I am vary far from a expert at modding yet I am not a newb. Any help is pointing me in good direction is greatly appreciated. I am using the latest version of this mod. Thank You 1

What do u mean by "is not the case" ? tatoos are not random? They are specific or aplied according to npc's faction? And what about other overlays (e.g. pubichairs)?
Kelticknot1 Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 (edited) I am not getting any tattoos or pubic hair. on any NPC no matter which faction they belong too. Thank you for your reply I would also like to add that I am not getting any whip marks or bruises Edited November 2, 2025 by Kelticknot1

Thank you for your reply I would also like to add that I am not getting any whip marks or bruises It's quite complicated Settings in this mod. I faced sometimes with this bugs and what I did, is - changing method of distribution (SPID/Robco) -Turn Debugs on in settings >> Switch Factional distribution OFF >> Assign some hotkey to manual applying overlays to NPC. >>> Then turn all parameters of multipiers in settins on maximum (100%, or 4/4) >>>Then aproach to some naked woman and just press button to apply some random set of overlays. All above was useful for me. Somehow ROF started to work =] Good luck
ggwp_rizh Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 How to add my custom overlays to ROF? I already made esp(esl) from blank and it shows through item explorer(cheat mod) but there is no settings for it in mcm ROF menu and also it doesnt list my overlays in array.

Have you added them via F04edit? And what type are they - skin conditions, hairs or Tattoos? Edited November 28, 2025 by Jeffey67

Yes, I used esp from Invictusblade tattos (also renamed it) where i replaced ids and quests/armors with mine. As i understand i need to make entry in original ROF esp i tried to add it in manager and MCM menu and nothing was changed in game i think i need to add it somewhere else but idk. Mod i want to integrate is tattoo stockings based on Chest slot: That mod I kinda wish ROF had auto discover tattoo mods like SlaveTats from skyrim.

As far as I remember, I made entrien on main esp, without using blank or whatever. Changed some unwanted array on Quest section and replased ID names in certain Scripts. Just couple Properties. Two types, one above another. Like on image

Riankhy Posted February 19 Posted February 19 (edited) This mod works perfectly on females, unfortunately I'm struggling with NPC Male Bodies and can't make it work. I tried different versions of this mod and bodytalk, also tried Robco and SPID and many different combinations in MCM. Is there any recommended settings or installation method? moon knight Posted March 15 Posted March 15 How do I prevent this framework from adding bruises and other effects to the player during AAF sex scene?
theblindbat Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I'm using ROF simply for public hair. Only using Porcupine's at the moment. The problem I have is that over time ROF keeps adding additional pubes to NPCs. They can get upwards of 20+ after a while! Any ideas?
Kelticknot1 Posted May 12 Posted May 12 I am having a issue with the tattoos not being applied to any bodies. I am on the new version of the game AE 191, I have set up this mod the same as I had on NG and for some reason it is not work. Thanks for any help that can be given
Jokekiller Posted May 19 Posted May 19 (edited) Can someone please help me to understand - can this framework be used only to toggle tattoos on certain NPC? I mean can it add those things individually, person by person not in a bulk. I know there's a Hotkey for applying tattoo at one person under your crosshair but can it be ONLY used for this type of distribution? And if so how would it affect performance, (if it's possible to understand what is actually causing performance issues other than loose textures)? Edited May 19 by Jokekiller
