Question Regarding Progression/Sex Location.

So on my past couple of play throughs I have been noticing some pretty strange happenings with my WW.... The past 2 lots/households I have played I have been noticing that whenever a random act of sex happens they almost always go to the same spot(s). In my last lot they always had sex in a shower or on a loveseat. They never went to any of the interactions in my list of over 2k animations. The same is happening on my current play through as well. They are only ever going to the bed or shower. Is there anyway to get them to go... you know other places lol. For the life of me I cannot figure it out in the settings. I have checked and verified that all the other animations are there and working as intended but WW is just getting caught on this loop of picking only like 20 animations it uses out of 2000. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WW tends to have this preference for "more usual" sex locations like beds and bathrooms, when it comes to autonomous sex.

However, you can change sex locations on the go. With one of the Sims involved being your actively played Sim, click any location and choose to move the action there. If you haven't already done so, enable the option to switch locations without limitation (found in the Sex settings), as otherwise you might not be able to do much more than get them out of the shower and onto the bathroom floor.

And of course you can also initiate sex manually, if you want to see something specific.

Sims remember what they use/like most (Enable both WW sex animation/location memory switches).

You can disable a bed, or toilet, by shift+click on it then: Wicked/Disable for Auto Sex (You can still select these for manual sex)

(This is to get sims to learn to use other objects and locations)(They have to be trained to use other locations primarily).

 

WW Autonomy/Autonomy Specifics Menu/Autonomy Location Styles: (you can disable Private Location Styles to prevent sims from hiding/using bathrooms so much)

 

WW uses sort of a priority system IMO.

 

On Lot within lot boundaries (always leave this enabled)

Private Locations (could also be Off Lot Locations, which I disable as I don't want my sims running 10 miles away for sex in the desert) (OK to use at vacation worlds) 

Comfort Locations (don't disable this one or sims will stop having sex)

Risky Locations (Risky factor settings and sims on lot/children play a part in this)

etc.

 

My sims had an aversion to using anything outdoors on my lot like any outdoor furniture.

I actually had to place 'no sex' signs around inside my house to force them outside for training, (manual mode sex if needed).

But even still there are lots of animations that almost never get used autonomously.

Floor & Pool Ladder animations just for example.

 

WW selected animations follow a priority system too... Teasing, Handjob, Oral, Vaginal, etc.

If a certain viable sex object only has vaginal animations then it may get bypassed for something else that has Teasing, Handjob, or Oral.

I never use this function so I'm really curious about it and had a question if you possibly know the answer. Does this disable all of these types of furniture across the entire world or only that one piece?

For example: my Sim has a table with a TV on it but when Sims use it, they clip through the TV with a lot of my animations which looks really stupid. If I disable that particular table, will it do it for all tables of that type? If it's a global setting, then I don't really want to touch it as I still want sims to use this surface in other parts of the world that aren't set up like mine.

No, it only disables that one single object and all others are still good to go.

The other workaround is to get a wall mount TV so sims can still use the table without clipping.

Thanks for the info. My current sim is dirt-poor so a wall mounted TV is out of the question at the moment.

Like I mentioned, I never use this function so it's definitely very handy to know. Thanks again.

Easy money without cheating...

I always go to the lot behind Willow Creek BFF household(Summer Holiday) and harvest/plant strawberries and snapdragons.

Takes some waiting time for plants to be harvested unless you live in that neighborhood or camp out.

I try to get the Always Welcome reward trait first so my sim can camp out with Summer Holiday and not get kicked out.

Works in other townies households too if you have to wait for plants elsewhere. 

Using the dirt to make $$ is the easier way for me, rather than careers.

 

Plant 10 snapdragons, harvest and plant 10 more, 20 harvested plants will sell for quite a bit.

If you develop garden skill to be able to do grafting just graft a strawberry cutting to a snapdragon plant.

Dragon Fruit sells for outrageous $$ but too much like cheating for me.

Fresh produce also makes cooking food better.

 

Just my game style as I'd rather have my sim doing fun stuff rather than a full time job.

Tending garden takes up far less time than any careers and pays better too if you get into it all the way.

Grafted Orchids are also huge moneymakers like using cheats but not.

 

Something different to try if you haven't yet.
