Hoping someone can assist me with this. I love the mod Lakeview Extended, adds a awesome balcony and walls around the Lakeview plot. Only thing I dislike is all the merchants have 2500-5000 gold to buy items from me. I would like to bring them all down to normal levels of gold, like 750 for the vendors and 250 for the farmer/flower girl. I do not know the CK, I've tried to learn it but the thing is beyond me. I have modified most things successfully using TESEdit but not sure where in the program would the vendors gold be. I'd also like to do the same for Ebonvale, a small rich settlement just outside Riverwood, they also have 5000+ gold to buy items with.

You could try Skyrim Immersive Self-Restraint.

You can try Trade and Barter Mod

i was using this mod 2 years ago but i remember that u can change

 - how much NPCs have money

 - price for sell ( global + specific city / merchant class )

 - price for buy ( global + specific city / merchant class )

 - how much extra gold NPCs got after this Investment Perk ;x...

Here is LE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34612/

Here is SE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23081

As Tobias suggested Trade and Barter might work if they are using a default merchant gold profile.

However you can alter their gold in xEdit by finding their container record, it should have a vendor gold item in it change that to match the vendor profile you want will also fix the issue

Like in this example it will give the Quarter Master who owns this chest the standard gold profile of a Blacksmith.

I already have something that limits gold prices for buying and selling, I use SkyTweak and I set prices at 300% above normal and buying at 50% item value. I'd need something that can tweak non-original NPCs, do either of them do such a thing? I left all of Skyrim's base vendors with whatever they originally had and won't be getting the perks to increase their wares, at least not yet.

Also I'm not so much looking for more mods to add, already pushing the limit on what I have active. I'd much prefer to simply tweak whats already there.

In TES5EDIT you should be able to set their gold they have more than likely it is in their " spawn chest" or container is what I think they call it in Tes5edit. Sometimes it will also be in leveled items. but you should see a gold item number and maybe spawn count. I believe if you edit spawn count it should change value of gold they have.  That will depend on how they have the dialog tree and if it is scripted to a container.

I see under Container for Lakeviewmerchant they have PerkMasterTraderGold, is that what is giving them the extra gold? Otherwise I don't see a gold count.

Just random thought, wasn't there a way to cheat Gold value on merchants? Like somewhere in the world is their physical chest and if you no clip to it and add gold to the chest it permanently increased their spending gold? Was that ever a thing?  Nevermind, that was only a reverse pickpocket thing to increase a shops gold permanently.

No, the PerkMasterTraderGold increases the money of this trader, when the player gets the 100% speechcraft perc "All traders get 1000 more Gold". the money of traders without this perc will not get more money.

You have to look for a object mostly called vendorgold. The count is one.

It normally leads to a leveled list item.

and there you find the amount of money.

Hmmmm, under leveled item there doesn't appear to be Gold. And their count appears to be 3.

Ok, I see. I downloaded the mod, cause I don't use it and I found "VendorGoldMisc [LVLI:00072AE7]" ammount 3 in the chest. That means they have three time the gold of a normal merchant. Reduce it to 1.

for example:

Do this in all vendor chests and they will have the normal ammount of money.

Awesome, works perfectly, down to 750g. Thanks!

Tes5edit is a go to for making small changes... not a big deal in this case but some mod changes before you make them take a screen shot for a reference.

Good advice, I've used TESedit for a few tweaks. Mostly fixing overly broken or underpowered weapon and armor mods. Like Nisetanaka's bikini armor mod, if you wear the full suit of armor it comes close to wearing the actual armor, but chances are my characters are only wearing a few pieces, so I went into the program and found the armor and upped the armor value. Personally never understood why people do that, 5 piece armor set with 155 armor rating per item. Really? Why? Like another mod I want to tweak that I enjoy but its frustrating the mod author wanted god tier NPCs. Ebonvale, nice little town perched on the cliff outside of riverwood (and something I found rather amusing, is the image of Loverslabs banner at the top of the page too). However, every NPC is lvl 1000 has god tier spells or gear, all the vendors have insane inventory and gold. If a quest makes one of the NPCs a brawl target, the only way to do it is cheat and set their HP as 1 before brawling them. I had a high level dragon attack Riverwood and it flew over to Ebonvale and landed, 2 guards there killed it in seconds.

The next thing I have in mind tho I'm curious if it can be done in TESedit as well. Player home Elysium Manor. Wonder if its possible to remove or change the music track it plays. It plays Tavern music and since its my main base of operations, I hear it all the time. I'd rather just ambient background (it uses temple of kynareths chimes as its background noise) or use Hearthfires music instead.

That's quite easy.

Load to Tes5edit. Go to "Cell". Choose one of the three cells. Scroll down to the bottom there is a line called "XCMO Music Type". Doubleclick on the line, a window can opened and you can change to every available music type even "None".

Woo, thanks again. Besides figuring out easier ways of altering NPCs looks,  I think thats all I've wanted to fix in Skyrim, for now at least.
