For me I have a strip club running at the moment, could that have something to do with it?

Me too. Cannot find any way to solve problem yet. These are what I've tried

1. delete these mods as mentioned in this website   https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/980785/broken-updated-mods-cc-sw-jb-sept-2020?fbclid=IwAR3wi5_eYfB6HsvmKqWJunB32FCSBRw9QBzPr8ow3YwWT30UnNaJeMmOVGo#latest

2. delete localthumbcache.package and all file that has named as ' cache '

3. update all WW mod, animations and Nisa

4. turn off my Origin In-Games

Still, cannot fix it yet T T

Major pre-release game updates most always break mods.

Turn off Origin Automatic Game Updates so it won't happen again.

In future game updates when it asks you to update game just cancel and play with Origin offline until after all mods are updated.

Not all mods have had time to update yet so you either have to wait, or remove all your script mods for now, like WW, Nisa's WP, Basemental, etc.

My game kept crashing too, but after a little searching I found it was the Unlocked lots trait by Dorsal Axe that made my game crash.
There's no update for this mod so I removed it, now all is fine.
So, check your mods for updates, if your game still crashes after updating your mods
remove the ones who didn't have an update, and start adding them back one by one to see which one it is that makes your game crash.
Hope this helps

[UPDATE] I think this problem happens from Wickedwhims.

I decided to move my Wickedwhims folder out of Sims 4 Mods, and tried playing game again. 30-40 mins passed my game didn't crash or anything. It looks normal. Yesterday, (I didn't move my WW folder) My game crashed every 5-15mins. I will try to move my WW back to the sims 4 mod again to see if my game is still crashing. If it is, I think I have to wait for a few days to update all WW again.

Hope this help.

PS. I also delete some mods that can controlled the game (Idk what it's called) such as MoreVisitor at Bar, Lounge , Nightclub / No React in Disgust (Get Famous). If you have mods like MCCC or Traits that you downloaded from the internet. It's better to delete them first.

I didn't delete my CC for decorating sims and house. (my cc house only have bahtroom stuff/ bedroom stuff and working stuff. I don't have windows and doors mod.)

turbo said in his discord that this WW patch is just temporary. he said that after the star wars releases on the 8th it will screw up more stuff so he was biding his time to wait until after the 8th for a more permanent fix.

it says Maxis doesn't supports Mods...... this is annoying

Lol, they don't support their own game either so...

This is why it's so important to disable Origin automatic game updates so it won't disrupt your game play.

Then when an update happens and Origin asks to update just cancel and go into offline mode for however long it takes for all the mods to get updated first.

I haven't updated my game or mods since the ECO patch back in June as I've also become quite disgusted with all the game breaking BS updates just for more shitty content.

you haven't updated the game or origin since eco but have you been updating the versions of MCCC and WW etc?

Nope, usually if  you do that then you get errors with mis-matched versions.

I've tried it a few times and I always keep backups of quite a few mod versions so I could revert back if needed.

WW is usually less prone to that problem though.

i think i'm doing something wrong. i tried the settings where i disable auto updating of sims and origin but then everytime i start the game in offline mode i get a login prompt that even if i enter the correct info it acts like its the wrong creds.

Launch Origin App first and not The Sims 4 shortcut.

Log into Origin first and then go into offline mode, then launch game from Origin.

do you let "Origin" update automatically?

Origin updates are OK and don't cause any problems.

I also disabled the start-up options as I'm not always going to play Sims when I boot my PC.
