The D11 version works. Thank you. Could you perhaps briefly explain what should happen with the GUI version? I don't get any results when I press F11.

Then I'll have to check what I need to change so that the meshes are recognized as female. I never paid attention to that before.

I´ll trying it with GUI and logo because it's a D11 version. Thank you and Merry X-Mas

No need to modify your meshes to look more feminine. The reason why it wasn't detecting your meshes as female was because I needed to add the alternate breast ray to another part of the code. It needs to be present in sim type detection and breasts simulator creation. If sim type detection doesn't think a mesh is female it won't try to create a breasts simulator. So, mistake on my end, no need to change anything.

If you're running the version with the GUI built in, pressing "F11" should open it. It looks like it does in this image:

Hello CPVC, thank you so much for the update. Apologies if this is a dumb question, but do I need to install the "RTBP" and "RTBP Mod" (from loverslab)  alongside the d3d11 (from patreon)? Thanks

You don't have to. The RTBP Mod is a script mod for the Sims 4 that basically only alerts RTBP proper when the game speed changes so that RTBP can pause simulations when the game is paused or if the speed is 2 or 3, whatever you have configured in your settings. If you want to install it, put "RTBP Mod" in your "...\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\" folder, but it is totally optional. In the future it might do more, but now just game speeds.

Hello CPVC, first, thank you again for this awesome mod, Seondly, you asked us to inform you if the game failed to launch with the gui version of RTBP, so I would like to provide a little feedback. When using the RTBP, with GUI, the game would launch but it would crash after about 5 seconds. I tried launching it from the EA App and Ts4 (in the bin) but it was the same result. Additionally, I did notice that the right butt cheek was deformed for some of the full-body outfits in CAS (e.g. the base game clown outfit) , when I used the non-GUI version. :)

EDIT: I also noticed that the sim's image in the UI is distorted :)

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, there are still some known issues, hopefully none of which are a deal breaker for anyone. I'm sure they'll get sorted with time. I really want to get the GUI working for everyone so I can release this, then I can focus on fixing the rest of the visual glitches for the next release. So thanks for you log file, that should help.

Gorgeous sim, by the way. She's a cutie.

I was coming to ask the same thing because I'm one of the odd people who preferred the installer that added these so I thought they needed to be added manually.

So all we need is to have the 3d311.dll + settings.ini in our directory ? ...if we use reshade I assume we DON'T have to rename the file then also?

also did the template for a clean settings file change ? if so can you upload a new basic one ?

If a settings file doesn't exist, RTBP will create a new one and fill it with the default values. So, if you want a fresh settings file, just delete your old one.

As for ReShade, they seem to be doing something new to hook the game. Try installing ReShade after RTBP.

Thank you! :) Definitely not a deal-breaker, cannot imagine how difficult this project must be. Thanks for all you do

Hi CPVC, the latest dx11 GUI version is working for me now so whatever you changed is working, the Splash screen still crashes me to desktop but that's no great biggie, I have had an issue for ages now, even in the DX9 versions and i'm not sure of the cause, if i use some CC or make my own that uses simglass as the shader type to make transparent clothes the breasts and butt on the sim move correctly but the clothing doesn't move, i have attached my log and a piece of CC (Not my own) that has this issue, i have even seen this on a pair of overalls that i think came out with the fairies, it has a semi transparent bib, unfortunately i can not remember the name of them. if you ever get the chance to have a look at it that would be great. Keep up your great work. I love this mod.

Sigh, Having said the GUI version was working it has just now stopped again, I'm not sure what the issue is, it was working for over a day, multiple start up and shut downs, i went into the GUI and tried different settings all of which worked. Log1 is from the crash.

FreyS4 makes very nice lingerie sets. Unfortunately, the lace is a separate mesh piece and isn't recognized by RTBP. The bra moves, but the lace doesn't. I'll make a video later.

Nothing happens when I press F11. But I haven't had any crashes so far.

I'm not sure if other people are reporting crashes; it could be due to other mods conflicting with RTBP, causing some crashes. I left my game running in the background for almost 24 hours while paused, and there were no problems.

I've skipped the December update so far. Who knows what might happen if I update my game.

There is a gap on the neck for this specific outfit. It does not exist in other's outfit at least this is the only one that i know.

This is a known issue. Sometimes RTBP erroneously adds breast physics to male shoulders and you'll see odd stuff like this. Another thing I've got to work on.

This version works. Thank you. But I still don't have a logo, even if it's supposed to be included?

The logo pops up for a couple seconds upon starting the game. It starts counting once RTBP is initialized. Depending on how long it takes for your game to start drawing things, it might have timed out before you see it. If you want to see it, open up the GUI (F11) click "Misc" then "Show Logo".

Is there an option to disable the physics in 3x, since it seems to crash my game. sorry if this was already asked before.

Yup. You can edit your settings file "...\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\RTBP\Settings.ini", find the line that says "simulateSpeedFastest3 = true" and change the "true" to "false".

Alternatively, in game, press "F11" to open the GUI. Select the "General" tab, uncheck "Simulate At Fastest Speed? (Speed 3)", then click "Save Settings" to make it permanent.

Settings file looks good and yes, all you needed to do was add the debug flags section to the very end. I tested it and everything is working. Attached is your modified settings file:

Nothing you need to do now. I'm thinking about a way that metadata could be hidden in the actual mesh data so that RTBP could read it. If I did go that route, I'd make a Blender plugin for it so that creators could specify the reference vertices for breasts among other things.

I'm definitely interested in the blender plugin for my mods ! ;D I'll be on lookout for whenever you release this

It's quite possible I'm not seeing it. My loading screen isn't running very well, but I have over 60 GB of custom content and mods. It takes about 20 minutes for the game to load. 😄

Since everything is working well at the moment and you no longer have to worry about malfunctioning DLLs, have you considered the natural sagging of the breasts?

If it's not an issue for you, that's fine. But perhaps there's a way for you to make it look better.

I've noticed that it's not due to the rigs. It has to do with the changes in the body's coordinates. I can see two different results with one rig (pose), depending on how the body changes. Sometimes, depending on the pose, the breasts simply stay attached to the body, and as soon as the pose changes slightly, the physics are applied again. I can take some pictures for you later. This happens with a pose group from the same creator. I don't think the creator uses different rigs within a pose group.

How do you determine the direction of the breasts? Do you set a fixed point relative to the floor?

I don't mean to bother you with this, though. I'm glad you're so responsive to all of us and have made it possible for almost all CCs to work, whether mine or those from other creators. The last change was fantastic, as many clothing items now work much better.

A big thank for your work and your efforts. 👍👏🙏🤝

Hi CPVC, thank you for the update :) I would like to provide some feedback. I was able to open my game with the GUI version (and I did not experience any crashes. I also noticed that the my sim's image in the UI was not distorted. However, I noticed that the UI was still distorted for other sims and that the right butt cheek appears to be sagging in some outfits. I also noticed that sometimes, when selecting outfits, the back would stretch out (similar to the image of Mortimer in the UI)  for half a second, but would immediately return to normal. Also, is there an alternative to F11 to open the GUI (totally cool if there isn't)? Thank you again for the update, this mod is really cool.

Those are known issues, things I hope to remedy soon. There are still a lot of little bugs like this that need to be resolved and will be with time. I'm glad to hear that it's stable, though. That's what I'm really concerned with now.

As for alternatives to opening the GUI, F8 is set to open the GUI as well. It could be anything, really, as long as it doesn't conflict with the game. Do you think something else would be better? Should it be configurable in the settings file?

Everything’s working great after a week of play, thanks! Small notes to try to be helpful;

Notes: 1- glitch with right butt (when looking from behind) stretching on some maxis, and some cc clothing - also when nude with some cc female DR bottoms. Issue appears more often with dumbaby (most) and rarely eve v10 female bottoms. Turning off butt physics or changing to WW bottom help or saving helps sometimes. I found switching bottom clothes to other cc and off dumbaby for nude to fix in all cases. Confirm in cas by rotating sim. Glitch looks similar to how body parts can stretch when simulate on pause is off.

2- some cc is not made with rtbp in mind or made in a way that doesn’t work correctly causing clothes to separate at seams when bouncing which is to be expected
