Devious Devices support

Hi, I've downloaded what I think are all the necessary mods to get devious devices to work but most items don't work. Collars and plugs work fine, most body items (chastity belts, corsets, etc) cant be seen and arm binders can be seen but appear without moving the arms (so the appear empty) and for some reason my characters hands disappear. I'm not sure whats wrong, I suspect its BodySlide as I followed an old tutorial (I couldn't find any newer one). I'll leave a list of the exact mod list. I was wondering if anyone else had an issue like this/how they solved it. Thanks!

In the interest of giving as much info as possible, I was also playing with deviously cursed loot on and when I spawned loot with that my torso and legs disappeared leaving a big red triangle with a white circle at the bottom, don't know if that changes anything but might give a better idea

Red Diamonds with a ! in the middle are representations of missing Textures. what that means is that there is ether no call path or... no I think that's it (I could be wrong, I usually am)

 

something that would help Identify the issue is letting us know a bit more, like;

1. What Mod Program are you running (ModOrganizer2, Nexus Mod Organizer, Other)

2. Have you messed with the INIs already?

3. what tutorial did you follow?

 

That being said, With the fact that the items disappear I am sure its a missing texture, or model(?), issue. I would sugest reinstalling the mods.

That's missing meshes and this usually happens if mods don't get installed right.

 

You mod list is missing:

Racemenu for NiOverride

What skin texture you are using with CBBE?

And don't you install CBBE meshes with Bodyslide and outfit studio? What "CBBE"ish mod did you install in addition to BS?

 

A real load order might help more and a FNIS output (copy paste from the generator)

 

What preset was active in bodyslide and outfit studio when you build the CBBE body and the DDs? (also choose batch build in BS)

So

 

1. I'm using Vortex (nexus mods own manager, apparently different to nexus mod manager?)

2. I have no idea what INIs, that doesn't mean I haven't messed with them, but I probably haven't

3. The link to the bodyslide tutorial, its a bit outdated but I managed to do most of the steps

4. CBBE is Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Edition, I believe it's just premade bodies for Bodyslide but it didnt work unless I loaded it mith my mod manager

 

@mr pickles I think I'm gonna uninstall everything and follow you guide. I'll come back and say if it works. Thank you so much, looked for so long for a guide lol

Yes, Vortex is different from NMM... a lot.

NMM = easy to use, very few functions to help the user

Vortex = a mix of NMM and MO

MO = complicated to use, most functions to help the user

At least that how I explain it to myself ^^

I'm not a great help with CBBE specific questions, but at least I know the other mods rather well in that blog list.

whenever i try and load skyrim SE through vortex and the skyript exteneder it crashes and just says "DeviousDevices.dll (00000001 DDiUtil 00000001) reported as an imcompatibility during query" (<manually installed>): reported as incompatibility during query.

mod list is only the required for it with alt start and devious cursed loot

please send help
