karlpaws Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 What I've found is that armor mods that do not use quests or anything to distribute the items into the world (and some that do) can be merged together. I would also guess that the 3 PAN mods can though I haven't gotten around to merging mine. Since those three don't have any conflicts between them, and are I think only split so that people without all three DLCs can pick and choose, they can merge easily. Â Â
Grey Cloud Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Your first two steps should be good modding practice and self-discipline. How many armours can you wear at one time? Seeing as you use MO, why not create a profile with one load of armours and (an)other profiles for different loads? donttouchmethere Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 My quick answer: Merges for Racemenu addons: > eyes > brows > makeup > tattoos and warpaints > hairs no mod connects to (no mod searches for the exact esp name for patches)  Non LL Quest mods: > they usually merge well  Patches: > create a merge only collection => still be careful with patches that have multiple masters (in case you merged a master and the patch can't find it anymore) > merge them together with their master => careful with LL mods, they are interconnected a lot > often a bashed patch can merge those too already  Followers: > most followers can be merged => careful with custom followers that are interconnected > don't merge creature followers that have MNC SLAL patches  Armors standalone: > merge them, merge them all muhahaha!  Weapons standalone: > merge them > careful with weapons mods that have scripts, like ... autofire scripts lol, okayokay guess those are rare  Weapon/armor replacers: > can be merged  Hint: If you open merges regularly to grab certain armors or you want to search in them, don't make them too big or you get multi pages with additemmenu.
