I dunno man, technically the model is fantastic but they really overdid it with the "realism". These freckles and pores and red thing, like a rash... I think its too much. Makes her unatractive, which is a shame because I kinda like her and thin she is unique in her own way.

That stuff doesn't bother me any more than it would on an actual person, which is to say not at all. To each his own, I guess.

 

But I do kinda feel like it just doesn't quite look like Aloy. It's close enough for government work, I guess.

Exactly, that's my main problem with it, to me it doesn't look like Aloy.  Forget the fat/ugly debate.....if it doesn't look like Aloy, then it looses that crucial connection with a lot of the players who played the first game.  Frustrating.

Anyone know of a way to make Aloy stay wet longer after rain or a quick swim. I quite like the shinyness. 

 

Either  a mod or a setting somewhere?

Great work on the mods @orangy. Motivated me to re-buy the game for PC and try to complete it this time.

I really like the creativity with the various outfits, not just nude but some interesting things going on.
Do you have any plans to make any more outfits for the game? Would love to see what you can come up with

 

Oh, and a bug report. This applies to at least the protector and survivor outfit, but maybe the other too.

I noticed that the skin on the front and back looks like it has stretch marks. It's especially visible in curscenes. I thought it might be the normal maps, but I couldn't see anything in them indicating the source of the problem.

Based on the work of @orangy and @PositronLazor69 I "converted" another outfit to be Explicit (The Osram Sparkworker)
My goal is to convert a few more outfits to be explicit too.

I'm not particularly good at modeling (at all), so it's just removing parts of an existing outfit

Tyrandi, is that a new body shape under that apron? It looks fuller than the original Explicits, but more detailed that the old based-on-game-assets-and-banned-on-Nexus body.

 

Hoping that somewhere down the line is one with just boots and gloves. Just so we can make a complete comparison, of course.

It's the model from the nude aloy nexus mod. It's part of the files of that mod.

One difference is that I generated ambient occlusion for the body, something that wasn't present in the original mod, and I made sure to reuse texture space from the removed parts, to keep texture quality high.

The thing I notice about this body is the seams between the thighs & under the arms. Any way to fix it? Or why not use orangy's body? I didn't notice any on that one. But either way awesome work. ?

Yeah, I saw the seams in blender too while working on it, but thought it might not be visible in game, ah well.
The reason for not using orangy's body, is that I didn't have an original blender file for that, with original textures. I thought they were basically the same, but after looking at it  today in-game, they are definitely slightly different, and I prefer orangy's body, will see if I can use that for future models.

The seam might be fixable, it might be that there are separate vertices there, so the normals don't end up correct, will see if I can figure it out. Or just get a good base of orangy's body and use that, depends on if the UV is the same. I'm not too keen on redoing the texture work, it was a bit of a pain to pack everything properly without resorting to just putting the new texture side by side with the original.

The good family man who brings everything down to his own little person and who has no second degrees, has I think nothing to do on this kind of site. Don't make it too personal, you are free to prefer women without hair, to each his own. I'm just looking for a modder who could make this character evolve.
