I have no clue what mod is messing up what. (Sexlab + creatures)

So I tried messing around all day with my game, but I have no idea why creature framework won't auto change creatures from unaroused to aroused states.

It just will not work. I also got Blush when aroused but when I try to get that to work, it doesn't either.

To be clear, there is nothing wrong with animations, everything works fine when I force a creature to be erect through creature framework.
But the creature will not become erect through Sexlab Aroused

I apologize if I missed it but do you have this?

There's a lot you can check in the general tab from Creature Framework. For example did you check "Sexlab Aroused Integration" "Sexlab Interaction" and the arousal Threshhold is not too high? You can also enable the debug console and check the logs if something spits out errors. I recommend using Notepad++ or somthing so that isn't such an eyesore.

You may want to check the thread of "More Nasty Critters", as this has been discussed repeatedly there.

MNC brings its own Creature Framework on board which sometimes causes these problems. It is solved by many people by overwriting the on-board CF from MNC with the standalone version meaning, the standalone version needs to come in the load order behind it, to overwrite it.

I already tried overwriting with the standalone version and that didn’t work

sexlab arousal integration is checked. Then going off the first response, it might be related to aroused creatures. Because i took a quick look at the threads in there and there have been problems related to mine.

Okay, so I woke up and went back to testing and trying to fix, uninstalling Aroused creatures didn't fix anything, BUT! since i only tested on were wolves and other dogs, I went up to a horse checked it's arousal (which was enough to be in an erect state) and waited. Sure enough boom big ol horse dong.

So now the new question is why are wolves not working?

I am using true wolves of skyrim: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59174
+
ABC:

 with the true wolves patch.

True wolves is the only mod that isn't available for SSE, but that should be fine because it's only meshes and textures and looks fine in game.

1) This mod installs different meshes, so they don´t have an "erect version" - which MNC would require to switch over from non-aroused to aroused state

2) ABC is known to cause problems in combination with More Nasty Critters

I'm no expert in these mods, but Husky's reply tells me quite clearly that using both ABC and MNC is a bad idea. But you might find additional info if the too-many-numbers user tells you why installing a previous MNC version may help.

So for shits and giggles i disabled MNC (i use mo2) went in and now my wolves dont have an unerect state, if i had to guess maybe, it was because creature framework was also with mnc, but here's the thing, I have ABC overwriting MNC. There is nothing wrong with the meshes, animations, or textures. Creature framework just doesn't want to switch some creatures to an erect state unless I go into CF and switch the specific creature to be aroused in the CF mcm then force the creature to update in the CF mcm.

I think I fixed it, the latest ABC  1.71V  wasn't working so I got version 1.65V and everything seems back to normal

Okay, so maybe I need to explain some more:

It´s Creature Framework which handles the swap of the meshes when an animal hits the arousal threshold. It will swap out the non-aroused version of the animal to a mesh that shows a cock. The cock is part of the aroused mesh. There is no in-between state, it´s either or.

MNC installs these additional aroused meshes for all creatures and already comes with its own version of the CF on-board. However, this on-board version seems to cause problems with some users, and they have reported that installing the standalone version of the Creature Framework after MNC (meaning overwriting the on-board CF) will solve this problem.

ABC is a different mod which allows animal cocks to be bendable and moving - but for this the aroused mesh has to be there in the first place. If you can´t see aroused meshes then it´s either because CF is not working properly (see the first two paragraphs) and overwriting with a stand-alone version may help. OR because the animal replacer you have installed simply does not HAVE any aroused meshes.

I had just fixed it and I came back to report, the strage thing is the first time I tried to use the standalone version it didn't work. But I tried again and it for some reason worked this time so all is good now.

I already knew all this info, I was having a hard time understanding why nothing was working XD

I spent 2 days trying to fix this stupid thing and im happy I gave the standalone another try for shits and giggles

So another question would be does the YOU DOWNGRADED CF THERE WILL BE BUGS, ever go away? or is there a file i can remove to get rid of that?
