WCSC Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 I know, another ctd questions but. I just reinstalled Skyrim beacuse of a new motherboard. No new mod additions other than the usual's I've been using for years. It seems now, and maybe I'm missing a utility or patch perhaps that I forgot to add to my game...but periodically when I start the game and load my last save, i will CTD, sometimes it takes me loading a few games below my last save to load, then I'm able to load my last save. Sometimes I have to go reaaaaly far down to find a game that will load. The only fix I know I had installed before was Safety Load 1.2 Maybe I missed a file edit? I know I ran into this issues in the past and fixed it somehow, just don't know what it was. Is it a Load Order thing that causes this. This ctd probably happens about 40% of the time when I start the game and try to load. Any suggestions I'd appreciate

Brawl bug( there is a mod that requires it, but at the moment I don't remember what it is, maybe you installed it)? Crash fix? FNIS report? Does it report anything? Loot load order? If they could be viewed, they would be useful . Does your mod manager not report the absence of some master file? For example Heel Sound where required . They seem trivial, but said so it is difficult to identify a specific cause .

Ran Loot Nothing missing looking at the plugins ( I use last ver of NMM)
Andy14 Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 Changing the loading order can cause this. But the lack of a mod is much more likely. Notes can be found in the Papyrus.log. If you loaded and saved an old save, check it for errors and invalid script corpses with Fallrim Tools.

Maybe this is the missing link and solve my issue. THanks!
