What I aim from this thread is that if we list all these games we havnt played we might beable to play them because others will probably tell us how good these games are and where we can find em.

Never owned a PS3, 360 or Wii, nor have I touched any, to my knowledge, ports from those on the PC. So that's like more than five years worth of popular games I haven't played. Never played Final Fantasy 8, 9 and 10 even though I own copies of them.

The most recent hand held systems I own are the PSP and the DS, while the most recent console is a PS2.

I have not played ANY of the Modern Warfare games. No Battlefield 3 either. (ok that is a lie, I played MW3 for 2 hours on a room mates xbox, but I never played it again)

I haven't played any of the popular games on 360 or PS3, since I do not own them. Sony exclusives are not interesting to me in the least, and most good xbox titles are on PC anyway.

Oh sweet Jebus you haven't lived if you have not played the Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Yah many people said that but I lost interest on nintendo since n64. ill try them on emulator some day. :)

I've never played FFVII (not for trying, I just can't seem to find a copy anywhere), Gears of War 1 and 2 I played 3 at a mates house and got lost, a lot (understandable tbh, I managed to get lost in a completely linear dungeon before) most CoD games except the first Black Ops (I don't like FPS games) Bioshock (all of them) all Assassin's Creed games from 2 onwards (I own AC 1) and there's many more that I can't be bothered mentioning.

Ohh the popular games i never played are uncounted. Never owned a other gameing platform than the pc so i missed all games that were not ported. I also don't like shooter the last one i bought was half life 2 (which was in my opinion a disappointment). What makes me most sad and is dark point in my gamer biographie is that i never played a baldurs gate and planescape torment. Thats something i have to catch up sometime.

As well i never played WoW, a final fantasy game, a assassin's Credd game, mass effect 3 and a lot of offer stuff which i can't recall now.

Hmm, popular games... Typing helps me think... Oh yes, Halo, Assassins Creed, Mario, and Sonic.

Edit: I've just bought assassins creed and loved it, so you can scratch that one

As far as series go, I could never get into Crysis, CoD, Battlefield, Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, GTA (Saints Row is a better sandbox game series), and Final Fantasy other than VII, and DayZ for ArmA II (I like zombies, but the controls and system issues are too much to bother with it).

I own an xbox, but I almost never use it any more since I built my PC a few years ago. At night, I can hear it crying as I sleep...

- The Witcher 2. As much of an RPG fan as I am, I cannot stand Geralt, and this prevented me from getting anywhere in the first game.

- The entire Tomb Raider series. Not sure exactly why, but I've never been interested in these games.

- Any Call of Duty/Battlefield/Modern military shooter of any kind. Not my thing, and it is my personal belief that they are contributing to the continued de evolution and cheaping of the FPS genre.

- Half-Life 2. Paradoxically I loved Half-Life, but I've somehow never gotten around to playing this one.

Half-Life 2 is one of those games that gets bogged down with shit. When it's good, it's fantastic... but then you have things like the airboat and buggy sections, which take much too long, and then there's Ravenholm, which bores the everliving shit out of me because it's all zombie apocalypse,

when i consider half life 2 a pretty good game, i cant stand the lack of personality of Gordon Freeman. Even Chrono (from Chrono Trigger) it's Robert Downey jr. compared to him... :/

That is one point he never talks ( thats rises the question how he got his phd without talking...mysterious mysterious) the second point is the game throws you in world which has heavily changed in comparison to the first game and never bothers to explain what hapend between these two parts. The only thing you know is there was a alien inversasion at some point but you never get to know who they are, how they invaded and most importend why. You never get to know what happend with gordon freeman in these time and because of his lack of personality he gives a fuck.

So to come to an end of my of topic rant as gamer for whom story is the importend part of singleplayer game i can't immerse myself in hl 2.

Don't worry too much about playing HL2. As great of a game it is, the mods really are all that keeps it's fame going. Besides, you've got a better ending if you just stick with the ending(s) for HL1, cause the whole HL2 experience just leads up to a 6-7 year gap. If Valve makes a HL2.5, then you may want to play it, cause we all know they will never make a game that has the number 3 in the title.

Played everything except team fortress and BnS.

But Emily doesn't have enough time to kill for games recently. Life is tough and she is busy preparing her new business plan.

Also, Emily collecting 'BIG FISH' game series.

Quite honestly I don't know what games are considered "popular" these days. As for those I can think of; never played any of the lastest medal of honour/Call of duty/Battlefield games(I played the titles that took place in WW2, but as soon as it became so called "modern" warfare I completely lost interest). Neither have I played any final fantasy game past FF6(for the SNES). Haven't played any of the Assassin's Creed games and I haven't played any of the half-life titles either. That's about all I can think of. I usually play what I consider fun, and don't worry too much about what the other kids find amusing - so there's bound to be a bunch of more "popular" titles that I've not played. And because the only gaming system I own is PC, naturally any console exclusive titles are unplayed by default.
