Guest Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Hi guys! Just downloaded some sim that already had 'sexually abstinent' trait... And I don't know how to remove it. Does someone know? Thanks!
Dynchia Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 The easiest way I can think of is to use MCCC if you have it installed. If not, then you would need to use the Sims 4 console and cheats on command to remove it. i don't have the specific commands at hand so I can't step you though them if you have to go that way. TwistedMexi also has a small mod which turns Full Edit Mode on in CAS and keeps it turned on, allowing you fully edit/alter you Sims in CAS after you start play, including adding/removing Traits.

There's a package in this mod, "Add Traits In Regular Menu Mod", which allows you to add and remove traits from sims in game quite easily. https://modthesims.info/d/591706/more-cas-traits-for-sims-mod-amp-for-pets.html You don't need to install the rest of the mod, which allows for more traits per sim, you just need that package
simhead666 Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 I'd strongly recommend the MCCC route...With MCCC Cheats installed you just Shift+Click on your sim, select 'Cheat Sim Info', then 'Remove Trait'. https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/releases It's a powerful mod and always the first thing I install, even before WW.
Scorpio Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Yes MCCC is an invaluable utility that's in the top 5 of the best mods for Sims 4. You can also add/remove hidden traits, CAS traits, reward traits, change age, change genders, and set gender preferences on the fly. Plus the FullCASedit cheat to edit any sim, and too many other features to list. You just have to enable some settings first using a computer in game. MC Command Center/MCCC Settings/Notification Console Menu/Console Command Settings: Enable Full Edit CAS & Testing Cheats. Shift+Click on a sim doesn't bring up the proper menu for me so... I just click on any sim and select MC Command/MCCAS/Manage Traits

I have a feeling this is another thing that you may need to enable in MCCC's (vast array of) settings...Kudos for remembering the other bit, I'd completely forgotten about it.
