Jahem_kinkaid Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 V0.9 + after scene ends Ivy correctly return to her main mod's packages + fixed stupid mistake that prevent MCM read ini file so scene duration was set by default to 10 everytime i've tested this update with and without liga and both test were ok. liga is affecting Ivy's behavior, but 0.9 working with it much better than before. 6

anthony8659 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 (edited) Tested v0.9 running game with no multi follower mods and the following player bug and/or running at full speed like a headless chicken all around while on workshop mode is now fixed. She's back near or beside the workshop workbench. Yep, she's back to normal and she mad! Thank you Jahem_kinkaid ! Edit: Forgot to mention no problem with dismissing her too. IBAGadget Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 I'm still running the original Realsex mod with Ivy 6.0 with no issues whatsoever, aside from the slightly altered voice. Every other aspect works just fine.

Aye, it's working in general but... it based on ivy 5 quest and have conflicts with ivy 6.0 (some new records will be overwritten with old, some old scripts attached) - so few things might go wrong. It also has Ivy behavior bug that was fixed in 0.9

Usually I shun away from complicated things like AAF, but Companion Ivy got me fired up about this. The only thing in my load order I'd need AAF for is this add-on for Ivy - with a female player character. I read the AAF requirement list on the LL page and wondered: Do I really need to install the WHOLE shebang, when I only need a couple of lezzie animations? Or can I go with a leaner setup, without breaking AAF and the add-on mod? Or is there an alternate solution altogether?

Hi, in which way is Liga messing with Ivy's behaviour? Is it just stuff like pathfinding or is it preventing her from saying as much dialogue as she is supposed to?

Liga overwrites the vanilla followersscript, instead of properly adding/overriding their additions. In addition it screws with the followers array making it so Ivy isn't always in the first slot, yet she depends on always being in that slot. In addition, Ivy is very script heavy, so it's not advisable to have multiple companions together with Ivy. Think about her script load, and the memory load of 9000+ lines (the player char has 12000 lines) and you could count her basically as already having the script and memory footprint of 10 followers. So every added companion is 10+1, etc.. So Liga works great for 99% of companions, but not for Ivy. And it results in a whole slew of unexpected behaviors that users then come seeking support for, to the point of knowing and realizing beforehand that Ivy doesn't really work with multifollower mods, so some actually resort to hiding the fact that they do, or did earlier in their save games. Long story short: 'It screws with Ivy in unpredictable ways'.

It can be used to force Ivy as the main follower slot (special place) but with what you said about how script heavy she is, yeah I think I'll just stick with her instead. My potato is never going to work well with her combined with other followers even if there weren't compatibility issues lol. Edited July 14, 2022 by Skalar10
