(Sorry if this is the wrong topic section.)

So I downloaded some Nexus mods with Vortex like it told me to, and It works alright and was rather easy to figure out.

I tried to download some mods off of Loverslab with vortex and it didn't work/install right.

So I downloaded MO like a forum discussion said I should, but I can't figure it out very well.

I've never been very good at stuff like this.

The mods I want to install to my Skyrim SE are as follows:

- Sexlab Framework (I'm unsure what version to use at all....)

https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/286-sexlab-defeat/

https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1282-succubus-enemies-revamped/

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59202 (For some reason I can't get it to work).

To get mods from websites other than the nexus, all you have to do is get the file as usual (for example for LL mods, the green "Download this file" button), you'll get the zipped file and you add it to whatever mod manager you're using. MO, Vortex, NMM, etc. any mod manager has some way to install a mod from a local archive.

If you're using regular Skyrim (the one from 2011) get the pinned one in the downloads for Skyrim, it's the version 162.

If you're using Skyrim Special Edition (from 2016) get the one from the pinned thread in the "Downloads - SexLab Framework SE" forum section (this doesn't appear in the download section, instead is a regular forum thread and the file you need to download is an attached file in the first post). The current version for Skyrim SE is 163 beta 8.

You'll need to keep in mind which Skyrim version you have and if the mods you want to use are compatible or not. You'll also have a better experience if you pick one mod manager, stick to use only one and learn to use it. Don't switch or use multiple ones because you read some forum discussions. Both Vortex and MO have plenty of documentation, video guides and other resources that should get you started (Gopher has a good introductory video series for both Vortex and MO). For everything else, ask in the proper forum sections/threads and others should help you out.

Oh and keep in mind the requirements for the mods you want to use and any install instruction.
