The script tells SL Aroused to set the NPC's gender preference, after which the NPC can respond appropriately. If it keeps looping, you're missing this mod's scripts or your SexLab Aroused isn't updating the merchant's gender preference faction. If you can't get that to work, you can turn off gender preference checking for this mod in the console with "set SLSP_IgnoreGenderPref to 1". I know this is late...but is there a slightly more indepth instruction on how to do this? Do I just put that code into console? >.>;

I know there was no way you could have known this, but that command completely bricked all of the voices in my game. Nobody has a voice now. Do you know how do reverse that? I uninstalled the mod and it's still not working

The command simply sets a variable that is added by this mod and is only used by this mod, so it shouldn't affect other dialog. But, if setting the value back helps you, great. 1

Yeah I don't know WHY it did it. But it did. Thanks for the fix tho I appreciate the help

That totally fixed it. Modding never ceases to amaze me
Guest Posted May 26, 2025 Posted May 26, 2025 Hi! Looks like this mod stoped working, Have been ussing it for months (several game plays with different mods) but looks like after devious NG it doesnt work anymore. After making a proposal you only get back the dialog "well..." once and again.
Hex Bolt Posted May 26, 2025 Author Posted May 26, 2025 1 hour ago, try again. said: Looks like this mod stoped working, Have been ussing it for months (several game plays with different mods) but looks like after devious NG it doesnt work anymore. After making a proposal you only get back the dialog "well..." once and again. The mod is designed to be used with SexLab Aroused. If you look through some of the earlier posts, you'll see that players who use SL Aroused replacers have had similar problems. I'm guessing that's where the problem is, rather than DD NG. 2

I'm using SL Aroused Baka Edited. ( I have to have SLHH + Babadialogue + SL Approach Redux + Sexy Adventures -> this combo is so good! ) I had the same problem. Thanks again for the heads up.
shpuntik Posted May 6 Posted May 6 How difficult would it be to remove DD dependence in Creation Kit (for my personal use)? I'm very basic Creation Kit user.

Will try to include Sexlab Aroused FWIW, some of the SLA replacers miss out chunks of code which the authors might have thought 'superfluous', but which other mods actually relied on. I spent a couple of days trying to work out why one of the former versions of AYGAS refused to allow me to sell trained slaves, only to eventually work out that the 'sale' code was dependent on some code that was in the original SLA, but NOT in the supposed 'fully compatible' replacer. And that was compounded by the SLA replacer mod refusing point blank to revert to the earlier version without screwing up your game - leaving you with mods on which the gameplay was dependent but which were then unplayable. And to add insult to injury, if you did try to go back to something that would/should work, you got a startup message which said something like 'trying to uninstall this (replacer) will trash your game'. I lost about 100 hours of gameplay because of that Just my tuppence worth, but you need to be very careful when deciding which SLA version you use. I now never touch the replacers. DQW 2

DQW That's an interesting bit of research, now some of the weird behaviour in my game makes more sense. Thanks for sharing. I gotta ask, which of the new 'replacers' did you check and with original, do you mean Sexlab Aroused Redux SSE Version 29 2.9?

I gotta ask, which of the new 'replacers' did you check and with original, do you mean Sexlab Aroused Redux SSE Version 29 2.9? Version I currently use in MO2 is shown as SexLabArousedSSELoose-29 ================= I also have installed in MO2, but not used, the following 'Aroused' family mods Sexlab Aroused NG v0.2.2 OAR ** Sexlab Aroused NG v0.2.2 FNIS ** SexLab Aroused Redux V28b SSE Modified by BakaFactory(2020 11 17)) OSL Aroused DD5.2 DD NG OSL Aroused FOMOD 2.7.1 NG DD 5.2 USE FOR DOM FWIW: IIRC, the version that gave me the problems was one of the NG ones (I deleted the MO2 profile so can't be 100% certain), the ones asterixed above and my BakaFactory version has 'DO NOT USE' annotated to the mod description for some reason Hope that helps DQW 1

In MO2 the Aroused Redux version shows up as 'SexLabArousedSSELoose-29', so the one you're suggesting. I'll try it out, since I don't have Ostim I don't need the integration for it either from SLANG or OSL. Although would be good to know if OSL has the features from the original that SLANG is missing, would be neat if we could use a modern version with optimized scripts. Maybe you could check since you know what to look for. Either way, thanks again!
