Where can i find a complete mod pack where you would just drag files in skyrim folder for it to work. Because i just dont understand how those animation shenanigans work. Or at least a normal guide where it is explained how this mods work. case i tried to install some of them and they just crash the game.

Welcome. Post in the proper forum sections, I don't even know which Skyrim you're talking about, so there is no way to give you further advice other than generic stuff.

  1. Read the mod instructions.
  2. Read them again.
  3. There is no such thing as modpacks in Skyrim, at least not in the sense that you expect: everything ready to use.
    • There is Wabbajack, which is a website/program to install mod packages automatically (you need Nexus Premium), which gives you a complete install of mods and stuff, you still need to know how to activate/enable some mods (specially LL ones) and tweak them. Also I'm pretty sure even with Wabbajack users need to use tools like FNIS or Bodyslide if they want to change even the smallest detail about the given set of mods.

i am just so frustrated with absence of instructions or with the fact that i don't understand them. i own a copy of a regular skyrim. And all i want is to download some mods that would work with my game. And i am sorry for not posting in the proper forum sections, case i never used forums before usually i use given instructions or guides, but there is no guides or instructions that i could find. I am here only because i cant find anything that would help me understand how to interact with this forum.

I'm pretty sure 9/10 mods here have at least a decent description page. With decent I mean they include:

  • What the mod is about.
  • What are the requirements.
  • How to install/update/uninstall.

All you have to do is read the description, check the requirements and install these. Picking a good mod manager is also mandatory IMO. You could go for Vortex or Mod Organizer. Whatever mod manager you pick learn to use it. Installing 50 mods without knowing what you're doing is just wasting time, go slowly. Using mods is not rocket science, it usually consist in downloading a zipped file, installing it with your mod manager, rinse and repeat until you have all the mods you want to use and all the mods you need to use (the requirements for the mods you want to use).

Give me an example of a mod you can't get to work. I know it might seem a bit overwhelming when you start, but a lot of the work is pure mechanical reading and pressing a button to install the mods. The most important part is learn to use whatever software you pick to mod your game, that part is not negotiable.

Just installing mods is not that difficult, but modding well takes some effort.  It is, technically, possible to just take the archive file mods are packaged as, unpack them, and drop them into your "*\Skyrim\Data" directory and have the game work.

That is a terrible idea.  For reasons that we can wait to get into, Skyrim modding has a lot of complexity to match the fact that it gives mod developers the power to do waaaaay more than most games allow.  As a result, just 'installing a few mods' is an amazingly easy way to end up with a crashy, broken mess as mods conflict with each other over surprisingly trivial and unrelated things.

That's why the first tool that new modders are encouraged to pick up is the third party mod manager.  Your choices are either Vortex or Mod Organizer.  These programs do a number of things, but their main advantage is that they track mods installed separately from your actual Skyrim filesIt makes installing and uninstalling mods once you've downloaded them a relative snap.  That's more important than it may seem at first blush.  So go ahead, pick ONE of those, and install it.

You have a point ?

Test some first, then after some time you will understand wy it is so important to learn the hard way. Best to start simple and only install a small amount of mods. Like armor, texture packs and try to create merge pack your self. Bug fixing mods. CBBE or UUNP. NPC overhaul. Next to pick the Required mods, zazanimation, Devious Framework, Defeat and more.

And you can ask her if someone is willing to send you a mod load list.

Usually I just surf the first 10 most downloaded pages of nexus mods then surf LL mods by views then by date and get most of what I need.
