Seyhtan31 Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 (sorry for bad grammar in advance) Hey, recently i decided to re-install skyrim and begin to download mods, but when i create a character and try to save it as preset, it says ''failed to save preset to preset (preset name here)''. So i checked the files where normally presets should be, and those files are missing too (CharGen, Presets) i tried to create them but it didn't work either. Thanks in advance... blank_v Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Short mod list... Do u have SKSE?... Are u sure u run Skyrim as Admin?... No antivirus block game from creating new files?... What name u use for your save?... ( You can't use ! _ * etc. )  Maybe SS from game with Error? Â

Yes it is a short list, and i have SKSE, no antivirus blocking the game and i wasn't trying to name it with ! _ * etc... Then i thought ''does my skse runs as admin?'' and voila! Running it as an admin fixed the issue! Honestly, i have been trying to find a solution for hours, i was just about to give up and you saved it. So thank you!

How do I run SKSE as an administrator and have it load all of the mods? I located the SKSE64_Loader file and ran that as admin, but it did not bring the mods with it, for lack of a better term.
