WW shows up on mods list but it wont work ingame

Hello, I just downloaded the mod along with some other animations packages, but whenever I open the game, it just wont work.
This is my first and only mod so far, so theres nothing else in the Mods folder besides the WW mods and some other animations I downloaded here on lovers lab site. Yes, I put ALL the files DIRECTLY in the Mods folder, with no subfolder whatsoever. The WW mod is the latest update, located on the site.

 

Another weird thing that its going on, is that the game is also kind of messed up, especially the basic game animations (since theres not even the option for the Wicked Mod animtions showing up for me). Like, theyre sleeping, eating, woohoing, but all it show is them standing there like nothings happening. I really dont know what to do, was really looking forward to play this mod, but dont know whats going on in ther for me to fix it.

 

Can anyone please help me?

Game update today broke most Mods so just remove them for now until WW get updated.

You can keep any downloaded animations on you desktop or in downloads until then.

The recent update patch for the Eco Lifestyle EP (June 2, 2020) broke a lot of mods and CC as it is a massive update. You'll need to either turn off mods/cc or remove it from your game until Turbodriver has a chance to fix it.

I dont have any expansions installed. My current game version is 1.20.60.1020 acording to the GameVersion.txt file on the The Sims 4 folder. Could the problem be because of this? Maybe its too old? if so, is there a way in which i could run the mods in this older version?

Nope, newer WW versions are made for newer game versions and it doesn't support a pirated game either as per LL forum rules.

oh boy...  i downloaded this version of the game online cause I dont have an optical drive to run the DVDs from the old copy of the game I have. So you telling me only way I can play the mods is if I buy the game AGAIN in a digital version?

I assume that the TS4 DVD has an Origin code which you can simply use to download the game. If you did never register it and lost the code you need to buy it again, anyhow $5 for the base game is not too expensive.

For the current version v.1.63.x there is no compatible WW mod available yet, so even if you order it today it will not work.

TS4 was never released on DVD, and if it was it was only a code for use with a Origin Account anyway.

And if you downloaded Origin v1.20 years ago then you are already registered for updates through Origin with your own account.

 

Last DVD hard copy install version was Sims 3.

._. i do have a physical copy of TS4 for pc...... with a disc... wierd.  

 

no, i downloaded a pirated copy because my macbook doesnt have an optical drive for me to read the dvds, i had no idea I could download the games digital copy from a digital code. this gives me hope, tho, gonna try to find it through my mess. It should work for Mac OS, since it was a copy for PC? Sorry Im stupid and dont know how to navigate these stuff really well...

I dont think Ive ever registered? dont know. I'll try to find my copy and see if it works, thanks! 

haha, Actually in my country, the base game is costing something like US$35 : (

Chances are the disc was only for installing Origin to allow set up of a new account and then download the game.

 

Once you register with a valid code Origin will download the correct version for MAC.

 

Meanwhile you should search for Origin and get it installed first if you haven't done so already.

You can create a new account even without buying anything just so you're ready.

 

TS4 may or may not always be on sale but once you sign into Origin you may find some deals through them.

I have a problem...So I did everything right but when I downloaded an sex animation, open the game up it shows up in TURBODRIVER wickedwhims tuning and not wickedwhims scripts...I need help..

Where do you buy? Allkeyshop.com lists valid shops, no matter where you live. They send the code by email. Redeem it in Origin and you're done.

Even EA/Origin offered it for $4.99 during the 'EA Publisher Sale'. During their 50% sales one may buy accessories and game packs. Jungle Adventures and Outdoor Living for $10 each. Cheaper than from any reseller afaik.

 

If you want to buy in a retail store to get a packaging it will be expensive.
