What's a good way to support both CBBE and Fusion Girl?

Title, basically. I'm fed up of CBBE knees, the Knee Fix breaks TBoS and FG does seem to be the way to go. So I'd like to sewitch to Fusion Girl, but I don't want to abandon CBBE support either.

So, if anyone reading has done the same sort of thing, how did you do it? I could offer two downloads, both identical except for the nif paths in seven AA records, but that seems wasteful, Or I could offer a loose file override for one or the other ... but I don't like using loose files if I can avoid it. It might be possible to do some sort of run-time, scripty, change the model path thing at startup as well... But I'd have to do some reading up for that.

Anyone have any thoughts on the subject?

Let's not make it too simple, either. This is one of my ass-tats under CBBE

And this is how it looks on a Fusion Girl

Clearly I'm going to have to repaint all those overlays if they're going to look good on Fusion Girl

The bodyslide thing is a fair point though. Don't pack two nifs, just two bodyslide projects and have them buld a mesh for their chosen body type. That saves me messing on with different model paths, so that's a major bonus.

  1. I refuse to support the Knee fix (Obviously cause Fusion Girl... Mainly) nor allow patches for the knee fix with ZeX for obvious reasons. Unlike other people I prefer working solutions to kludgefucking things together and acting like I did anything new or good.
  2. I pushed a map fix UV slider into the ZeX Discord, it should help somewhat with mapping on FG. I'm waiting on TrophiHunter's work as he's working on a full skin set and headmesh around FG, but that map fix should help a tiny bit.

Dam that's some small text there.

Just so we're clear, I wasn't actually asking.

Thanks. Does this mean that if I redo my tats for FG now, I'll likely have to do them again when TrophiHunter delivers?

Probably. I don't know what he's up to with the body as it is, but I'm supporting whatever he does.
