Seaspirit Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Title pretty much says it all. Used to when I loaded up a mod in the old version, it was pretty easy to access the mod interface in-game from the menu. Although, now that I've switched over to special edition, it seems to have some basic mod functionality already installed, and wants to run everything through that. While this wouldn't be an issue, it doesn't seem to be loading any interface for my vortex-installed mods, and when they do show up in the mod list in-game, I can't interact with them at all. Has anyone else had this issue or been able to resolve it?
Scrab Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Cant see the pics The only "mods" that SE has on default are the DLCs You install mods in SE the same way as you would in LE DL them, enable them, deploy them, play them Perhaps something went wrong when you install things? Vortex really isnt cut out for doing a lot of.. mod reorganisation at once as far as my experience goes Vortex also has this neat issue where sometimes a mods .esp isnt enabled on default after installation - so you need to enable it manually. Sometimes the .esp tab isnt loaded at all so you have to restart Vortex. I recommend double checking the .esp tab when you enable or disable mods in Vortex
Seaspirit Posted May 6, 2020 Author Posted May 6, 2020 Apologies. Here's the original edition mod config menu: https://imgur.com/a/TADE9CY And here's the SE's: https://imgur.com/a/Yaq4bwQ Even though I'm enabling all the mods in Vortex, for some reason I can't access any of the mod's menus in-game, since I know the Sexlab framework has an in-game menu for customization. My issue is that I can't get to that menu
Just Don't Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 The SE one is not the MCM, it's Bethesda's own monstrosity for handling mods, don't use it ever. For MCM to appear in game you have to go to the System menu (pressing Esc and then going to the SYSTEM tab) and then "MOD CONFIGURATION", not "MODS". Of course you need to have SkyUI SE installed for this to work. Also, the SE forum section is a little bit below this tech support (which isn't for SE).
