Edit: You'll notice that the jacketless mod needs some refinement around the arms, but I tested this as is and it looks quite good for it's purposes, the animations move fast enough you don't really notice until you hit that awkward frame when doing a boss finish move...oh well I tried, it's time to see if there's someone with skill that can clean my sloppy work up XD

anyhoo I will apply fixes to the janky frames myself as time allows and I will update accordingly as I go along. But I will see how it goes and squeeze in a few goodies here and there as well.

 

Anyway it looks nice except for the odd frames out, see this preview for yourself:

Do you mean you want it as the same in the video?

 

You can install the separate versions of blaze in each of the different color  pallets folders

 

animatedsprites -> sor4 -> sprsor4blaze_a

animatedsprites -> sor4 -> sprsor4blaze_b

animatedsprites -> sor4 -> sprsor4blaze_c

 

and  for each folder I installed them in  order of mods without stockings first then  the  mods  with stockings   second,  you can install in any order you  want.

 

Just  keep in mind that  in folders sprsor4blaze_a, sprsor4blaze_b and sprsor4blaze_c, these folders don't have blaze_0365 so skip/deselect this frame when dragging your textures  across, otherwise you will  run into an error  saying blaze_0365 texture does not exist.

 

Remember to backup your original textures as well, SOR4Explorer does not have capability of restoring all the original textures after DLC update, or it would be more  accurate to say that this feature does not work for me any longer, it might still work for you, but I had to ask  someone to send me original files cos my restore game data files does not work, it just rolls me back to the previous nude mods I had installed.

Yes I tried that but an error comes up when I go to copy the files and then the game looks like this.

delete blaze_0365 from the pubes folder and try copying everything again.

 

Repeat the same process for the B and C folder when you do the stockings copy over.

Unfortunately No. Nictus7 was working on this and has not been seen online since, I don't know whether anyone managed to get his work in progress before he stopped coming online last year.

Yes, but not right now, I am focusing on work life and real life as I mentioned before, so I will have very little time to work on anything for the time being. Just use Blaze's second star move if this is really a problem.

the pause screen appears to have some built in blurriness that unfortunately I'm not sure how to remove and there is no way to modify the text so that it is invisible (from what I can see anyway). That's just from what I found out, anyone please feel free to correct me if there is a way to clear the pause menu.

 

That being said, this is the closest I could get to a clear  screenshot on Pause:

Overwrite the following textures in SOR4Explorer  (gui -> menus -> misc) with the attached

 

misc.zip

 

Then in game, you must be on Options-> Video-> select Luminosity, you will get something like:

 

That's unfortunately as close to a clear pause menu as I can get, if anyone else knows of a better way, please share.

 

EDIT:

added on to misc zip file to clear up the arrow and select box so hopefully that's a bit clearer:

Also alternatively, if you have NVIDIA experience on your machine, record your game session using alt F9 and press alt F9 again when done recording.

 

You will find your recorded video in  C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Videos\Streets of Rage 4.

 

Open your video and watch the playback, pause the video and take your screenshots.

 

I only thought of this afterwards, but there you go, an easier  way to take clean screenshots.

 

EDIT: For my example, I recorded a video, watched it, paused, hit print screen button on keyboard.

Opened GIMP and select Create -> From Clipboard

 

and  result:

You can even do this from a normal paint program, does not necessarily need to be GIMP, even regular paint programs have paste from clipboard option or ability to ctrl + V to paste screenshots.

not that I'm aware of no, your best bet is to just go into Options->Video->Advanced Options -> turn Post Effects OFF. That's all I could find on that subject.

thx buddy! unfortunately you can only switch between retro filter and retro + crt filter in survival retro stages, just saw that. you rock o/
