PsycheHHH
I'm stuck at this issue for a few times.☹️ I wanna add some furniture into my animations, but I got crash when loading mesh in ck, sometime it crashed, sometime it show a red warning. here are my mesh, include 7 mesh modified by me and 1 origin mesh from tara. PsycheAnimationObjects.7z I'm sure I have the right path of textures, but only "NormalChair5" work. I'm really appreciate if you help me out. Link to comment
Heroine HoneyCrotch
If your using MO, you need to throw a meshes folder in your data folder and place desired meshes in proper folders in that meshes folder you put Into data. You getting red exclamation in CK cause CK does not see your mesh Link to comment

Heroine HoneyCrotch
Maybe bad mesh creates red ! as well. My experience is if in CK you see red ! Then the mesh is not being seen by CK. If you have all your content in data folder(nmm user) than you 100% have another problem that is outside of what I am referencing. Link to comment

You sound like one of those nutters that stop you one the high street and ask "Do you follower the Lord?" or some shit. How many MO leaflets have you handed out this week? ? Link to comment

MO users that loads a mod into CK will not have access In CK for meshes contained in that mod, you'll get red !'s They say MO is harder to use/learn. Guessing that's why you don't know anything about MO, just saying Edit: MO4Life Link to comment
Andy14
Check the Nif with Nifskope. A invalid Shadertyp/Shaderflag (for example) and you have a freeze/crash in CK and a CTD in game. Link to comment

I looked at your nifs. The nifs are junk (NiStrips, invalide blocks, broken hierarchy, wrong shader type etc.) So what do you want to achieve? Other material / texture? Link to comment

I just want to add that nif as an object during animation, maybe I got wrong export way. Link to comment
Andy14
Then replace the exported nif with the original nif. Renaming the original nif should do the trick. Link to comment

I have modify that nif in different place in scene, replace it will cause alignment problem. Could you please show me how you import a nif and export it? (what should tick, what shouldn't)? Andy14
I can't because I haven't used 3ds for 6 years. But you can also easily position the mesh (y axis, right?) In Nifskope. I'm typing with my smartphone. When I'm on the PC, I look at your nifs again and create new nifs where the chair has the same position as in your nifs. Because it's not a animated object this is usefull: part 6 of this playlist. Link to comment

Andy14
I didn't change MarkerNode and CollisionObject (they were missing from your nifs). But you can remove them with Nifskope if necessary. Otherwise, I have adjusted all the nifs, although I'm sure once would have been enough. Different attempts to export? PsycheAnimationObjects_edited.zip Link to comment
