DragonLord123 Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 So I'm brand new to modding on PC, and I'm trying to use mods for SSE via MO2, but I can't figure out for the life of me, how to get them to work. Whenever I try to launch the game with them "active", my game is no different from the regular game. basically how I tried to install the mods, I went to MO2, installed the mods from the archives and launched the game through the skse loader. I also tried to launch it regularly but same thing, nothing different. I feel like I'm missing something that should be obvious. Any help would be appreciated.

Corsayr Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Spoiler except yours will say SKSE64 or something like that

I tried launching it in MO2 with skse instead of the actual game, same thing, preparing vfs and then nothing.

First thing you will want to check is the error icon, that little triangle in the screenie below. You want it to look like it does on the bottom. Clicking it will tell you what the issue/issues are Spoiler

Grey Cloud Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 You need to do some reading. Try starting with the guides posted by @agiz19 above. You have to learn how to correctly set up Skyrim and how to use the various tools before you can expect to load it with mods and everything will just work.

Corsayr Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 To start with Sexlab 1.62 is LE The SSE version is 1.63 so you need to go through that list
Corsayr Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 This is not a guess, those mods are 100% NOT SE mods. That is what MO is telling you

You're probably going to have to start a new game Like start over from the beginning to get a clean save.

NoNickNeeded Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Did you use the "Sort" Button on the Plugin tab? That can solve quiite a few potential problems with your plugin load order.

NoNickNeeded Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 In the screenshot you posted I see quite a few animation packs. While I'm not sure it is the issue for the crash, going beyond the animation limit will cause problems. I suggest you switch to the XXL version of FNIS and also increase the animation limit of SexLab. The former you can find directly in FNIS own entry in Nexus under optional files and for the latter either get the fix directly from "Sexlab More Animations 1.0.1" or you can use other mods that also include the fix like "SexLab Utility Plus" by OsmelMC
