CTD everytime i exit musem of concord for the first time.

Every playthrough i started this far i get a CTD immediately after pressing E on the doors which lead to musem of concord roof. I can just start the game again, load the save and it doesn't repeat after that, but i'm afraid there might be more CTDs like that later into the playthrough  and i don't want to start it before i'm sure it's free of issues :/ 
Are there any mods in my load order that are known to cause this issue or do i need to start, installing a few mods, then checking, then installing again, then checking and so on?
Also would it be enough if i uninstalled all mods and then stared installing again or do i need to uninstall FO4 then remove all mods from Vortex then, manually clean out any remains in documents/program files?

You can just press disable for 5-30 mods on vortex, then you test, if still crash - disable another 5-30

Does disabling really work like this? i always thought you had to reinstall the game clean and then install everything from the base up ?

You disable mod and mod manager remove files from game folder that was made by mod you disabled

Possible work-around:

 

  • cook some Jet
  • climb onto the roof of the church next to the museum
  • take the jet
  • jump onto the vertibird
  • climb down and get the PA

Then you can fast travel back to Sanctuary, fix up the armor, load in the fusion core from the molerat cave under Red Rocket, and go back ready for business.

 

You don't strictly need the jet, but it makes the jump a lot easier.

 

'course, if it's a bad mesh that's causing the CTD then this will produce the same crash. But the fact that you can get outside the museum suggests otherwise. Either way you'll have more data.

Managed to fix it by removing some mods. Thanks for help though.

Finally I managed to fix this issue too! Remove "Better Settlers" hope that help!
