Fulanoo
My sims don't change out of their sleepwear after they wake up (they even go to school in their sleepwear). I have to point them towards their dresser and make them change into their everyday clothes (which is fine for one or two sims, but gets kinda boring when handling an entire family). I'd like them to automatically change into their everyday clothes after waking up, or after living their rooms, or at least when leaving the house lol. I'm fairly new to The Sims 4 so I'm wondering if there is a way or a mod to fix/change this? Link to comment

Crashdown117
MCCC's Dresser module has a few settings for outfit behavior, I think one was about changing into sth appropriate when leaving home. However, them not changing when going to school or doing sth like that has been introduced by an update some time ago - it was even mentioned in the patch notes, so it's an intended feature. AFAIK in vanilla, Sims will only change clothes autonomously when going to bed (sleepwear), exiting a shower/tub (not guaranteed), leaving for work (if there's a work outfit) and on special occasions such as festivals. I searched MCCC's Dresser module and couldn't find anything that would make my sims change into everyday outfits when they wake up, maybe I'm missing something? I'm about to just change their sleepwear into regular clothes just so I don't have to deal with them walking around in sleepwear all day long lol Link to comment
Crashdown117
Huh, seems I was mistaken about MC Dresser - can't find anything as well, probably mixed it up with the situational outfits. Sorry about that. Google on the other hand can be your friend sometimes (unlike my unreliable memory): I knew there was a mod and of course it's one by LittleMsSam! It allows you to set a dress code for any lot (as a trait) so you can force any Sim on that lot to wear everyday, formal or whatever. And thanks to Nisa's LTE you can just add it to any existing lot. Thanks for the help, I tried this one earlier today, and it works some times and it doesn't work some other times. Don't know why. Link to comment

Don't know why. It's tied to Sims spawning and then receiving a hidden buff (either on spawn or on first interaction), so it only works, when the game considers a Sim to have spawned - at least that's what the page says. Maybe try the "Dress Code Gadget" that's mentioned right above the download section. 7 hours ago, procian said: I think there's a setting in WW that makes sims dress up before leaving the house..... From my experience, this only makes them dress up when naked and IIRC you can't pick the outfit category, so they'll just put something on to cover themselves. Could be wrong though. Link to comment
