Guest Posted May 14, 2023 Posted May 14, 2023 (edited) Hey, I'm currently trying to add Backpack Containers (and this patch) to an in-progress playthrough. Any idea how to do that? Backpack Containers doesn't appear in the MCM when I try to do so, and it's likely a problem with the original mod, not the patch, but if you can provide any advice that would be greatly appreciated! Edit: Actually, never mind! If anyone has the same problem, try entering the console command "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1" without the quotes. Edited May 14, 2023 by AgonyCipher
gobuchul Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 I'm trying this out with Realistic Capacity as suggested, but Realistic Capacity is adding about 2x the total weight of my backpack to my capacity. 72lb pack with +35 capacity on the ground, I have 91/91. pick up the pack, I have 127/244!

It's particularly likely to get goofy if you have any other mods that affect carry weight such as SL Survival.
effrenatus Posted March 16, 2025 Posted March 16, 2025 Hello! I have a question and I am not sure if it's a Campfire or Backpack Containers thing: If i didn't mess up, or miss anything reading the mod pages, i believe the backpack does not reduce the overall weight of the items, right? Please correct me if that is wrong! Â But in that case, is there anything that can be done, to calculate the overall backpack weight with a factor? Let's be real, everything is much easier to carry on your back.

Please correct me if that is wrong! It doesn't reduce the item weight but it does at 50lb to your carry weight to simulate the benefit of having a backpack 1
