Question: Do you have sex mods activated during a clean/serious playthrough

I'm in two moods when I play Skyrim. One of my mood is where I play the game seriously, completing quests, joining factions, playing the dlcs, trying to defeat Alduin, and playing a stealth archer for the twentieth time. The other mood is where I just fuck around with the shit ton of porn mods I installed. I really want to play some of the good quest mods out there such as VIGILANT and Falskaar, but I'm afraid of getting sidetrack with all my smut mods. Should I uninstalled all the porn mods so I wont be distracted? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question.

It's not a serious playthrough if no LL mods are installed! ?

Especially the devious ones

 

I would say if you want a quick playthrough go with just some sex triggering mods.

If you want your game to take at least 3x the time of a normal playthrough, install devious mods.

 

Although I managed it to play most sidequest and all DLCs in 400+ hours with 50% LL mods (mostly devious) in LO.

Just be prepared to make a few game days no progress at all... unless you see it as progress if you escape slavery or wiggle out of Devious Devices, while getting raped.

Even had some time to make a few slaves with PAHE on the way and sell them with AYGAS (collecting the unique encounters).

 

Since SLS + DFC I'm not sure if I can managed that ever again ?

This isn't a yes/no question IMO.

 

I always have Sexlab, MNC and Aroused installed and several animation packs.  I almost always have several dialogue mods (RDS, SL Romance, etc) installed as well.  If the mods you have installed are somehow blocking a "normal" playthrough, (mods like DD) then I could understand removing them (or at least lessening their effect) for a "serious" playthrough.

I honestly don't turn off my LL mods when playing seriously, or just screwing with LL. I mean, just because you don't have sex mods on doesn't mean people don't have sex in skyrim,(IMO) or a bandit doesn't rape someone every now and then....That, and as it stands now, turning off all my LL mods and turning them back on would be a REALLY hassle to do, so I leave them on for simplicity sake. xD

I have sex mods that work only on demand, they won't get in the way unless I talk to someone and choose a specific dialogue option. There's no need to turn them off and a few more scripts running in the background won't make a huge difference. I don't play Skyrim very seriously though, and I never do quests because most of them suck.

I'm playing on SSE and have over 1000 installed mods, at least 80 are LL archives (including frameworks, tools, animations). My current game is 550 hours long. I play a character that evolved from a very submissive slave to The Dragonborn in the course of those 500+ hours. I did not even begin the main quest before 300 hours. The early game my PC was a forsworn and I played AFS, Devious Cidhna and The Sisterhood of Dibella. Later on she was defeated and enslaved, sold to the Captured Dreams master, did its chores and errands; many devious mods, defeat, helpless, etc. Then freedom and a slight boost in confidence but still selling body to thrive in the world, getting away with sex - defeat is great to surrender to enemies and sneak around stealing their stuff when they leave you alone. They'd usually leave you all tied up in all sorts of devices and it was fun having to sneak away, then get rid of devices, then get what you have to get (such as Frost's papers), then sneak again and maybe get caught again. Lots of sex early game. As the game progressed and the PC grew into a more "heroic" persona, assaults and bad stuff also happened less - the more skilled you are, the less likely you are to be defeated, caught sneaking, etc. Most of Amorous Adventures during the heroic stage. Now I'm late game and my PC is an acclaimed heroine so I started the Troubles of Heroine main quest to destroy my reputation and go back to LL fun stuff (I know ToH has content to go along with vanilla content, but I'll do whatever there's still to do). Still a lot to go, and I want to try adding Slaverun once I've played all the quests that it can break (don't know if it's possible to add Slaverun late game, but I'll try).

 

So yes, it's possible with good modding practices, which means days spent resolving conflicts or fixing bugs. My game crashes maybe once a week and I usually play several hours per day. I'm pretty sure it's more stable than the vanilla game and I don't claim credit for it, mostly thanks to STEP and its related guides, I've followed DarkLadyLexy's for years and use the same principles to add mods over her stable build. Many non-SL mods with 100's of hours of gameplay on her build, such as LOTD, Interesting NPCs, Falskaar, Wyrmstooth, The Grey Cowl of Nocturnal, Moonpath to Elsweyr, etc... I've done most of those and more in the "heroic" stage, too, since unfortunately there aren't many ways to integrate SL with mod-added content besides prostitution or defeat.

Just a curiosity... what is the size of the save file? And how much time it takes to load it?

Save is currently 26Mb (compressed) and loads reasonably fast (10 seconds? 15 at most?). I use SSE Engine Fixes which is pretty essential. Without it, I could never go much past 21Mb compressed. Had many good games dying on me after 250 hours on SSE. This setting from Engine Fixes is a game changer:

 

SaveGameMaxSize = true                 ; Expands the maximum uncompressed size of a save game from 64 MB to 128 MB; can fix "crash on save" issue in long-runnning saves

 

If the ration of compressed file size to uncompressed is constant, I expect I could have a file as large as 40Mb and still load it without problems.

I can't remember the last time I did anything like a serious play through.

However, yes when I last did one. SL Defeat and MNC were installed as death alternatives as was SL Solutions.

 

Most of my Adult mods are based around what can happen when you lose a fight or run around naked too long.

maybe i use succubus mod ,i try most LL mode for fun and try

if you play game without mod that add/change gameplay/quest game will be boring after  you becomes to strong for game,

device are good but without any real ingeration in game , you hate them with time

most thing i like it it mod that make very weak ( all your persk/stat are near zero even in lv10-15 , and 2 bandit need use your brain to win .not your mousse just walking

Most mods here mess too much with your gameplay or just arent really exciting after you played through them once

 

I sometimes throw something like Aroused Creatures, SL Adventures or Estrus Chaurus into a "serious" playthrough. Those mods just do their thing once in a while, satisfy curiosity and fantasy - in one way or another - and leave you be afterwards 

Usually just keep a save SFW tho and have a seperate profile to troll around a bit with NSFW mods

 

Most NSFW mods just force a specific playstyle onto you too much or are just too heavy. (Naked Dungeons is an intresting mod but having a hard dependency on Zaz and DD is just .. meh.. if you dont have any other mods utilising them)

 

I like the "vanilla" gameplay, as crazy as it sounds

As I see it, sex is part of life (literally). I may not have everything active, but I have quite a few NSFA (not safe for anyone) mods active in any given run.

 

Also, none of them are purely for the sake of porn, because honestly, if I just want porn, there's more stable options where I don't have to adjust actor positions constantly.

 

That's part of why I'm not as fond of mods like Sanguine Debauchery or Devious Devices, as I find them to be disruptive to gameplay. (And slavery/bondage aren't really kinks of mine)
