First person sex animations

I have been asked about a mod that would provide a first person perspective for sex animations. I have to admit that I couldn't think of one. Is there such a thing?

Use the 2.9 version of Immersive First Person View if you're going to take it. Any version higher doesn't have a MCM, making it harder to change your settings, instead it forces you to dig through folders to find obscure settings to tailor it how you want. Despite people constantly complaining that an MCM would make changing settings easier, the author has so far refused to add one after removing it in version 3.0 and onward. It's a downgrade that the MCM is gone, but for some reason people have agreed(Or have said nothing) with the author's decision, reinforcing that the MCM might stay gone. >.>

I use IFPV 3.4 for Sexlab scenes.

Not changing much on the ini settings, but it's true it's a hassle without the MCM.

Pretty much as others would say, the Immersive First person is the BEST choice you have in terms of using them during SexLab animations, however the camera itself is pretty "meh" when it comes to combat. You cant even see if your weapons /magic are holstered or not at some times. For combat, there is the Enhanced Camera, but it does not work well with SexLab animations at all. And sadly, there is no such option as something in "between" of these two.

Would be nice if someone made some mod that allowed switching camera presets while in-game...but afaik there is no such mod, and dont know if anyone will ever make it either. But if yes, would be cool nonetheless.

All those LL mods together create a nice sandbox and tell their own stories (unless you get a conflicting cluster fuck)

im also using IFPV 3.4 applying a workaround the dev published on the sticky comment in the modpage on the nexus. yes, you need to keep tweaking a .txt file, no mcm, sadly. basically, it switches between vanilla and IFPV mode, pressing NUM9. So the vanilla would be used for combat and IFPV for sex. however its a sad workaround. the vanilla first person is itself bad, you cannot see your body and your casted shadow. the sex animations that come bundled with sexlab are absolutely horrendous so i went looking for others. i seached for 'cowgirl' on the search function and stumbled upon NCK30's

 

 

for sex i like animations where there isnt a lot of hugging and cuddling because what you see is pretty much the only thing you have going on for you so you need animations the bodies are connected only through the genitals and not much else, that position is perfect for this. but even these are not that very well suited for what im looking for. the heads shake like they are being punched, the screen flicker upside down and sometimes out of the cell like seizures and sometimes the camera goes to oblivion and keeps rolling on itself, specially on tight places like inn rooms. i also tried some foreplay but heads go into one another and they loop like robots.

 

this is probably something with the animation itself, because of the headtracker. animations the head is fixed is easy to control, animations the head shake a lot this happens. but the partner's head always goes nuts going around the head like witches and looping.

 

so that leads me to conclude that we need sex animations and a complete set of first person package (combat, magic, idle, crafting) completely tailored for the immersive, diehard first person fan in mind, because just using headtracking with vanilla animations for third person is a very poor result to have.

Did you try the IFPV helmet cam? NUM4

It gives enough space between you and your sex partner.

Also shows Head Devious Devices.

 

Doesn't help with messed up cameras of ZAZ or some SLAL animations tho.

 

Also for animations with animated objects and zaz furniture and estrus you have to be in first person before the animation starts.

That's high praise indeed (cough, cough) - You will find that there are not many animators that animate with first person view in mind. Certainly not me.

 

I use freecam myself to see all the action. Finding the right head movement is tricky. Right now I also have to consider HDT hair and how the hair don't drop into the eyes of the female. Tricky at best, very hard for the most part.

 

As an animator we must consider not touching Butt, Breasts, Waist for the most part (Different bodies) and now hair. How do You make great animations when being so limited.

 

Also I used Immersive First Person View myself. I did not like it, as the skin gets some kind of bronze look. Furthermore with some angles it switches between Fov untill You rotate the actors. So Freecam is much better in my opinion.

I use IFPV 3.4, can't remember if I tweaked the ini it was so long ago. I do miss the MCM, but hey.

I also use Better Free Camera, which is part of Utopium's Utilities. Can set the camera movement speed.

tried it now. well, i just places the camera a little bit behind the head, but all problems are still around

oh dear! how do i search for these animations aimed at first person ? could you help me find any? and isnt there some mod that detects the body type and adjusts animation variables accordingly? is anyone doing/trying?
