I do not know if you have taken a little bit of time and did some background research on the recorded history on brothels, going back as early as 400 BC and up to 1900 AD. It may help you in the background development and storyline of each of your brothels and the use of innkeepers. Although, I previously argue that Skyrim innkeepers are not pimps. However, recorded history does indicate that landlords and innkeepers did charge more to rent a room or bed to a working prostitute. Whereas, many countries and city governments throughout recorded history accepted brothels and prostitution as an acceptable evil that could be controlled and provide a taxable income for their treasury.

One method of historical government control your mod already addresses: Identification and licensing was commended practice throughout recorded history in many parts of the world. It was interesting to learn that in some cultures, if a young woman was very beautiful, the government official would often try to persuade the young women not to be a prostitute.

Based on my years of Skyrim gaming experience, the average number of male NPCs inside a tavern is generally, five or less, if there is no mod installed to increase this number. Therefore, should the innkeeper charge more for the bed or collect prostitution tax in advance or do both, to keep the innkeepers from appearing as pimps and keep the mod and game within historical content? This is offer as a suggestion that you may have not been aware of the average number of male NPCs inside a tavern is generally five or less. Thereby, allowing the player PC to obtain more income and freedom and fun as a prostitute, if they want to. Sense your current mod does not offer any advantage of being a brothel prostitute; giving you the time to create this ability in later version, if it can be accomplished.

Record history does indicate that legal prostitution may have been a more acceptable type of economical employment opportunity for women, due to there low social and economical status of having no legal rights in man dominate world, during this time period.  A woman could make more money and gain more social prestige as a prostitute in one day then most could accomplish in weeks. This historical fact still holds true today. Most brothel prostitutes throughout recorded history had more freedom and more time to enjoy life and had a better economical status than other working women.

Brothels where often classified on economical status of their customers and the type of prostitutes that work at the brothel. It is going to be interesting to see, in which direction you are going to take your brothel concept forward in future versions. I suggest that you do a little research, if you haven’t.

I have done some and will probably do more. While I'm not going for absolute historical accuracy in a mod for a fantasy series, I do try to keep some of that info in mind to ground it a little.

I'm not sure how much I'm going to build up stuff around only having a few NPCs in the taverns. To be honest, I kind of recommend just installing another mod to add more NPCs to the taverns, because they strike me as a little underpopulated in vanilla Skyrim. I haven't added any new NPCs to the taverns not because I don't think they need them but because there are already other mods that do that. I might eventually do it myself, but it's pretty low on my list.

I was only pointing out the number of male NPCs that can generally be found inside at tavern for a prostitute to entertain, as a guide line; “if you wanted to simplify your current method of calculating all incomes and expenses”. Whereby, you can devote your time in developing your brothel concept and not to be to concern about the innkeepers. As your brothel concept matures and you know what you want to accomplish at the end; you can always return back to this subject of innkeepers, if you feel it needs future financial improvement to blend into the completion of your brothel story. Keeping it simple here often makes it easier to modify in the future. The idea here is that your mod should not drift away from the original Skyrim game NPC configurations at taverns. Here, you are working with known parameters that you have complete control over; allowing you to duplicate recorded history to some extent, which would also complement the Skyrim storyline, if you want to.

You may not have thought of this. Your brothel concept may become beneficial to players, who prefer to play mainly as male character’s only, but not as male or female prostitute. You have already established brothels and have already introduced a few female prostitutes at a few tavern locations to obtain the prostitute license for Solitude; thereby, making it very simple to obtain sex in exchange for gold, rather than a speech skill requirement.

The question is when, the mod is finally completed, which I know cannot be answer at this time, nor do I expect answer: What type of working prostitute will you eventually allow the player to be? Can one be a free and independent prostitute, or must they be a brothel or pimp prostitute or a combination of the three? Your storyline on obtain a prostitute license did touch on this idea: “A prostitute serving Aedric Goddess of Love,” from the Temple of Dibella in Markarth, as a possible fourth option for a player.

Although, you did not address it, you may want to consider brothel owner like tavern innkeepers in a future version, where the brothel prostitute can work outside the brothel. Example Whiterun Brothel: Work areas include the City of Whiterun and Townships of Riverwood and Rorikstead, and all areas in-between. Solitude Brothel: The City of Solitude, Solitude Docks and Township of Dragon Bridge, etc. if this is possible to cover this much area. Whereby, your current prostitute financial calculations would be more practical here, because the prostitute is working directly for the brothel and would fall within your current storyline. This may allow you to make each brothel uniquely different and interesting and competitive in future versions.

My general concept is that you can work with a brothel/pimp or without, and there should be advantages and disadvantages to any of the choices you make. The current state of the mod obviously only does a little bit with that. The only real difference is how much of a cut the innkeeper takes. But I also have some other ideas that I'll explore as time goes on.

I am aware of the potential benefits of the mod to non-prostitute characters. That's why I've made it possible to pay most of the prostitutes for sex. And if there are any that you can't, I'll get to them eventually. When I say the mod is primarily for female player character, I mean that I probably won't flesh out the stories or adjust them to account for male characters doing them, and it's really not a focus right now.

I am considering doing more with the Temple of Markarth. My original approach to this was to leave that to the Sisterhood of Dibella mod, essentially, but the more I think about it the more I may want to go a different direction. I haven't decided for sure on that yet, though.

That would be interesting. From what I remember, Sisterhood of Dibella was very focused on F/F stuff after you joined them, which is not particularly my thing and I found that it changed too much the temple and the priestess that they became too out of place with ZAZ stuff and too slutty. A more realistic and lore-friendly quest chain for the temple would be great imo.

Dremora scene with fasta doesn't seem to work.

Never mind it does now, no idea why it didn't in the past. Seems like ambassador quest has to be done first.

Those shouldn't have anything to do with each other. What was happening?

Fasta casts the spell but the dremora doesn't appear.

Hmm. I'll have to try to make that happen. I've never seen that. I've seen her stand there without casting the spell at the player, but I've never seen the Dremora part fail.

Happened once. Reloading the game twice (from desktop) caused it to go away and it works perfectly. Not clue why lol.

OK, well I'll keep an eye out for it just in case I see it happening, too. Glad it at least started working for you.

Nice work so far, I've been looking for an adult quest mod that blends well into the immersion experience.  Will be following this one with interest.  Some feedback I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it previously but if you use a mod which adds extra bartenders to the inns, such as Immersive wenches mod they will give you a bounty as it appears everything is tied to the main innkeeper and if that radiantly changes for shift work as it does in that mod you are then working without permission.  At least that's my assumption.  In my testing in whiterun I took the work from Hulda, then after a few clients Violet and then again a few clients after one of the other wenches reported me, LOL..  So this could be an incompatibility of sorts.

Yeah, it does look at the innkeeper that you started working for. I don't have that mod so I wouldn't have seen that. I might be able to change how that works a bit to smooth over that compatibility issue. I'll record it as something I should look into.

It also took me a while to find the Windhelm brothel. It is near the Windhelm stables, close to the bay. It looks like a regular farmhouse. It is not fancy-looking, and there are no Dibella statues outside.

First off, glad you're enjoying the mod! I'd be happy to help with your issues.

As Herowynne said, the Windhelm brothel is missing Dibella statues. It's also missing a map marker. I've fixed both of these for the next release, but in the meantime it should be directly across from Brandy Mug Farm outside Widhelm.

As for the father:

Spoiler

If you ask around Rorikstead, it should add a map marker.

Please let me know if you are still unable to find what you're looking for.

Found it, wow cant believe how many times I ran by that thinking it was a house. but once your at the door it says the name.

Thanks for the quick response.

As for the other I did ask around and received the response from two characters stating a general area but no map marker. maybe i need to find more characters to initiate the map marker to appear

Either way this is a great mod, much better than the others I have tried. I have played through the game 3 times now and keep restarting from the beginning with new mods just to give it a different feel and also to try different races and looks for my lady

Thanks for all the help and will continue to whore my girl out as the game progresses..lol

I will take a look and make sure I don't have a bug where the map marker isn't appearing. There's also an image on page 2 of this comment thread that should show you exactly where the house is:

Found him!

Really loving this mod, my girl is whoring herself across Skyrim now.

The Bards college are prostitutes, adding some quests about that would be a cool addition to the story line.

Glad to hear it! I cannot reproduce the issue where the map marker fails to appear, unfortunately.

I will think about ways I might incorporate them, but to be honest, I'm not sure how much I will really do with that. I don't really get a prostitute vibe from them, and more importantly, to even begin with them you have to go and do a draugr dungeon quest. In my mod description, where I talk about having something where you can play a character who isn't a combat bad-ass right at the start of the game, I was specifically thinking about quest lines like that where even something that should be all about music and poetry, a perfect start for a "not a combat bad-ass" character, is still about going into a dungeon and killing some zombies. I'd have to do some major surgery on a vanilla quest line to improve that, and I don't know that I want to.
