Installing "complex" files with Mod Orgnaniser

This is a problem I occasionally encounter and never know how to deal with:

Today I decided to install MYSLALPACK (sexlab animation loader) to give Slaverun a try.

When you open MYSLALPACK with Mod Orgnaniser you get a lot of files to select (16 folders). But the mod isn't packaged in a way that MO likes it, so you have to select a folder to act as a data folder. So I select the top one (human beastly). MO says "looks good", but actually it seems it is not good. Because the other 15 folders are ignored and not included in the installation.

How do you get around this,  and get the other folders included?

You can create a directory and drag+drop files and folders, then select that as DATA and install

The long way would be to select the DATA folder 16 times and merge the files each time.

That's not a "complex" file, that's a bunch of folders with no structure. You can manually merge all the 16 folder into a single one which contains the usual mod folders. If its a SLAL pack then each folder must contain a meshes folder, right?

  • Unpack the file into a temporary folder (for example into the desktop)
  • Open each folder and move its content to a new folder (lets name it "MySLALPack All in One")
  • Once you've moved the content of each of the 16 folders into your "MySLALPack All in One" folder, right click and "Add to ...7z file" or zip file, don't know what do you use. Just zip that folder with the manually merged files.
  • Go to MO2 and add mod from file, select "MySLALPack All in One.7z", make sure you select the proper folder as Data, until you see the Looks good message.
  • Done.

MySLALPack.  This is Shashankie's SLAL pack of Funny Biz's animations, it is not LSLAL. The lack of a regular folder structure is due to it's having a FOMOD.

Okay, got  it... I'll look for the right  mod...

That's the LE version.

You'll still need to download an animation pack (which you have with MYSLAL).
