Anybody else having either of these problems?

I've been keeping up religiously with both SCR and pregnancy, and I was just wondering if anybody else has come across this:

Thought it was Breeder with the lactating breasts thing, but disabling and uninstalling it didn't make it go away.

And also this, which I can't explain: (mismatched arms/torso textures, now not just the suit and jumpsuit)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

No idea with the bazookas, but the mismatched sleeves/body on outfits I have seen. Usually on businesswear though. I can usually fix it by reinstalling my resource file (all the nexus files for outfits), then the maternity wear pack. And make sure to cycle archive invalidation.

This is really strange, but I'm having this problem whenever I try and copy over the meshes from the Bouncing Natural Breasts BNB_Body folder.

So, install BoG Type 3 Cali, then try and copy over the meshes folder in BNB_Body/Main/Meshes as instructed in the Sexout FAQ, and boom. Huge tits. Didn't even get as far as installing Astymma's compatibility skeleton.

Its never done that before.

Actually, you should do that the other way around. You only need the .kf files from BNB, the other meshes in there include an femaleupperbody.nif, overwriting your cali.

It seems Annika's Sexout FAQ needs an update then. The strange thing is, I've done this before, and never had this problem before. Why would it only start acting up now?

Thanks DoctaSax.

It's funny that you mention this because I did recycle my archive invalidation and haven't seen the mismatched textures since.

Sure thing. The faq was probably right before NG's body stuff was packed in a bsa. Or something like that. NG's body, BNB body & your own cali choice... bsa/fomod... it can get messy.

That's why the revised "how to install sexout" thread only mentions the kf files from BNB, not the entire meshes folder.

So if I get rid of femaleupperbody.nif from that folder, and copy the rest, and then copy you skeleton over it, everything should be hunky dory?

I always do that by default. I'll have to see if my new reinstallation of plugins (things were getting seriously messed up) fixed that.

All you need from BNB is the kf files, ie the anims that have been weighted for bouncy action. The other nifs in there are the BNB body itself (femaleuperbody.nif), hand nifs for BNB, and 2 skeleton nifs. You don't want the skeletons because you want astymma's. If you don't want the bnb body you don't want femaleupperbody.nif or the hand nifs (most body mods have their own). In fact, your hands problem might have something to do with a conflict due to installing bnb hands too.

What I'd do is just single out the kf files, put them in a custom fomod, and forget about the rest of BNB once & for all. Install, along with astymma's skeleton, & the meshes & textures from the body of your choosing & you're good to go.

Man, I have such terrible memory. Can't believe I ran into this issue AGAIN and forgot I'd already ran into it (and a solution given to it too!)

Thanks guys. I also forgot to edit the Sexout FAQ to reflect the fact only the kf files (and not the nif files) are needed from the BnB_Body folder. As it is, people are bound to run into the problem I've had, as I think Golgo13 or so seems to be having.

Out of curiosity, what do I do with the lonely femaleupperbody.egt file lying there by itself? Delete with the kf's or leave?

Thanks again.

If you're deleting the nif you probably have no use for the egt.

For some reason, I still can't get BoG Type 3's Cali boobs to bloody bounce. I got around the problem last time by using TheSkid's suggestion of using GSBmodder's Type6 mesh, which bounces just fine. But installing BoG, then copying over ONLY the meshes and kf. files from BnB_Body, then installing Astymma's skeleton, seems to have no effect whatsoever. Boobs don't bounce. (deleted egt file, made no difference also)

Could you confirm this? I don't know what possibly could be going wrong.

The BOG nif isn't weighted for it and is probably the nif you have installed. Copy the T6M again - supposing the one in NG is the corrected version.

I'm not using NG or any sexout mods (for now) - I'm trying to get my game to run optimally with all the mods I like, before doing that. So I've installed BoG and I'm trying to figure out this problem which has plagued me since forever. If I use the GSB's Type6 Femaleupperbody.nif, it bounces just fine, my problem is then the hands and such are mismatched. I would prefer to stick to a Type3 body like BoG's cali if possible, but are you saying then that there are no Type3 weighted breasts?

Posted

Eh, all of this has been a while for me. I don't think the T3 mesh in bog is weighted, T6M & bnb are, some others around here too. Never got around to checking them out - hope to do so soon. I've been running T3M on my test toon, which isn't weighted for it either, I think. Doesn't affect the bounciness of clothes, of course.

Mismatching hands is usually a matter of the hand nifs not matching the femaleupperbody nif. If you just add the upperbody from T6M and still have bog's or something else's hand nifs, that's what happens. I think the original T6M comes with hand nifs. Sexout nudes bsa has hand nifs too. Whether it all matches, I have no idea.

Thanks Docta - yeah, all my clothing bounces, just not the naked body, which is a shame. I'm aware of the T6M hands and body mismatches, its looking like I'm going to have to migrate to a type 6 body by the looks of it. I'll also have to edit the Sexout FAQ, or get Annika to do it, because that info is outdated then.

Don't suppose you know of any weighted type 3 bodies do you?

Hard to say; they're all T3-based, of course, but an actual regular T3-shape femaleupperbody.nif with BB... maybe a BB version is hidden in one of the bigger packages like body by race or something but it'd be hard to tell which is which there.

I'm nowhere near that far in my new install yet - still doing HUD crap - so all I have to go on here is more than year-old information of course.

I don't think the FAQ is really wrong; but it may just be a little vague on what has what (mesh/tex/bb anims). All body mods come with meshes, many with tex, some with skeletons. Atm, you run the chance that if you only want to install BOG's textures, you also install a mesh you may not want, for instance. The only secure way of avoiding any of that is extracting it all to separate folders, having a look inside, picking what you want, & re-packaging. Not necessarily the easy route for the average player, of course.

HI,

I just started an account here a few days ago to give the mods here a try and I've spent those past few days dealing with pretty much the same problem ChancellorKremlin mentioned here (and figuring out which of the mods I want to use) regarding the bouncing breasts while nude.  I followed the FAQ since it seemed like a good place to start but when I finally got them bouncing I noticed the entire body was quite a bit larger than the BOG CALI pack I wanted to use.

Since the fix seems to basically be "use T6M instead," and I can certainly live with that, I had a few questions in that regard.  I noticed when going through the files for the T6M body that there is no pipboyglove.nif files in there.  Would that be a problem if I deleted all of the .nifs and the .egt from BNB before installing the T6M .nifs?  Does the game just work around the missing glove .nif in a way that doesn't look horrible?  Also, how much of the files that come with the "original T6M" linked here should I install if i'm just looking for the smaller bouncing breasts?  Do I only need the .nifs or should I be installing everything included in the mod (much of which appears to be interface and underwear additions?)  If I only need the .nifs, does it matter whether I use the ones in the "Nude Body Option" or "Core File" folders?

Sorry for the longwinded set of fairly basic questions but I'm a bit new to the process.  I thought i'd ask here since this thread is fairly recent and covers the same problem i'm having.  If you'd prefer I start my own just let me know, and thanks for your time in humoring my noobish questions.

EDIT:  I actually went ahead and removed the old .nifs and the .egt before installing the files from the "Core File" folder and then installed the bouncing body.  It seemed to work just fine and I found out what the .nifs for the pipboy glove does (removes the extra glove part after the pipboy is attached.)

This raises a couple more less critical questions though.  One being if anybody knows of a replacement .nif to remove the pipboy glove for the T6M body.  I tried putting the one for the BOG body back in and it was a little off (as is expected with hands meant for another body type.)

Second is if it's a common issue for the breasts to get stuck in a slightly raised position when you come to a stop at certain points during the running bounce animation.  It's not a big deal since it corrects itself the moment I do anything that makes the breasts move but I found it to be an interesting occurrence.

That one ties into another issue I ran into testing animations with the rape game mod.  Every once in a while during the rape KO following a rape the body would stretch and twist on the ground.  This also corrects itself as soon as the characters move again but i'd like to know if that's just a common issue as well.

Thanks again for any help you can provide, and for taking the time to read what has now become quite the wall of text.

By the way, I've found the definitive answer to this problem, and the solution has been here all along.

NagoTM has done a bunch of conversions for clothing, making A LOT of them compatible with BnB bounce, but he's also gone out of his way and made a ton of bouncing meshes for bodies too. This thread is just one of a few of his that has a "want the bodies only section?" which has bouncing naked bodies for Cali, Berry, and a bunch of other bodies, mostly T6.

So if anyone wants their Type 3 cali to bounce while naked, just go there and rename his mesh to femaleupperbody.nif and you're off. The same applies to any other bodies there, which you may also be using.

Um, the first pic in the OP has been replaced with a picture of someone's RL kids. Was that on purpose?

WHOAH! That is messed up! How the *fuck* did that happen? Previously, there was a "image has been deleted or is no longer available" tinypic url there, so I never bothered to delete the dead link. The url must have been passed on to someone else, because those definitely aren't mine.
