Subforum for RDR2?

is there any chance they will add a sub forum for Red Dead Redemption 2 in the near future? I know that game just came out on pc like a month ago, but i feel this game will be the next massive modding game after fallout and skyrim. but only time will tell i guess

There isn't a forum for Grand Theft Auto 5, either, and that has been out for years. Rockstar games just don't have much in the way of adult modding communities. Other dedicated sites which have been hosting Rockstar games mods since the PS2/Xbox era will likely be the place for such a forum.

Bethesda released those games with built in, heck, even encouraged, mod support. Once the overwhelming popularity of modding, or perhaps addiction was realized, then corporate interest awoke and Creation Club/'76' were released. That's another story, but for Rockstar, the real effort is the Multiplayer, just like GTA. Those always online multiplayer games don't like us messing with/modding their stuff, so except for the things you see now for GTA. I doubt it'll get the same traction.

 

In the mean time, I'm downloading RDR2 as I type (25% off the Special Edition) and kinda got this 'gonna be a long trip' feeling.
