I tried it.. VERY early days.. I don't know if they ever fixed the File Exploder bug.. aka.. it didn't handle the 2 panel QDOS or Midnight Commander tile display thing. Didn't crash. just hung the system completely. and never completed the file copy/move or archive processes.

Classic explorer seemed okay however.. The main thing was they or similar company kept pushing "Window blinds" for themes. Doesn't matter the orginal Control Panel is permanently broken in Win 8 and Win 10. As an MSCE holder.. constantly paying for re-iterations of "education" and "re-certification" is some big anti-hetro shit. Prometric is no longer independent. Oracle/IBM and MS have a finger in the butt of that compnay. After Net+ became a religious org and Sun Microsystems was vored by Oracle it became all down hill.. Hell the company for Net+ is against the right to repair.

Hey, Listen.. When I priced out my i7-4790k with 32Gb Ram on a Z97, and 3 Hard drives.. I got a ton of shit for it. One thing that I can say. is don't trust brands. brand names mean nothing. First Corsair keyboard? led's dead in 1 year. the Gigabyte MOBO z97 on my system zero updates after 1 to 2 years (and Creative labs is by far one of the shittest companies on the planet, never buy any mobo with their sound shit inline. The drivers self corrupt) "Harden" "mil-spec" caps are nice but if they use shitty chips.. well it is what it is. we don't "get what you pay for anymore".

 

I highly recommend the "corporate" "view" on upgrades. wait 3 to 9 months before applying a system update, patch or driver update.. And BIOS firmware should be the very last thing to update. Unless you are a tech jesus, jayz2cents or hardwareunboxed..

Chris Titus Tech? VERY GOOD.. get the Windows 10 LTSC version.. Even a very nice walkthrough..

 Channel is full of how to do it right.. Avoid telemetry and the truth that even Win 10 Workstation Pro has telemetry infected STDs.
