ninjasoldier44 Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 I want to preface this by saying sorry if this is in the wrong forum, i didn't really know where to put this since its more of a general problem and not so much specifically an adult one. Anyway for quite a long time now i have just lurked here on LL and just scraped by just being happy i could make the game run with various mods installed less alone have it look any good while doing so, however as of late i have been bored and looking through various posts of people posting screenshots and i have realized just how dated and bad my game looks compared to other peoples, and the more that i have looked the more i realize that my weakest spot is the player character, in the three or four times i have done a clean reinstall of skyrim, each time i have failed to get the body right, either the belly doesn't grow when its supposed to, or equiping armor completely changes the characters body shape and skin color, or for some mods (devious devices for example) the body just clips through everything, even when i have followed the suggested steps (obviously im doing something wrong but if i knew what i would not need to be asking for help) so now I'm wanting now to do another fresh start in skyrim, and looking through the various body mods, armor conversions, enbs.... and it all feels like i would have better luck translating an alien language into Japanese (and i don't speak Japanese).. so here i am, hoping to find someone who can maybe help me set up a reliable and decent looking body mod and maybe an enb to pretty up the people and land of skyrim as far as what im hoping to find? compatibility- having the game look good is not all that great if the stuff needed has alot of conflicts. average proportions- just looking for an average built body nothing to crazy or overboard, just something that looks better than the aweful default texture/body build armor options- aside from wanting to keep all the default and dlc armors working correctly for the body, it would be cool to have access to a decent selection of various armors ranging from civilain clothes to sexy/practical armor body scaling- basically want pregnancy mods to actually be able to work. as for the enb, if you have any recommendations for good ones that are not that taxing/hard to install that would be great anyway, hopefully someone here can help me in a more detailed step by step manner than the guides i have tried following in the past cause i apparently am doing something wrong every time, and i have not a clue what that would be.

I think I can help on some of that. 1. CBBE and UUNP are both compatible and have lots of support. 2. Average proportions are CBBE. It is what Caliente was aiming for. UUNP is for those who want their females "blessed". 3. If you opt to get CBBE you will find on the Bodyslide page in Nexus under Addons ChronoTrigger's Remodeled Armor. This is a replacement armor for all the clothes and armors in the vanilla game plus some additional armors. There all have ZAP sliders (which will make parts of the clothing disappear) as well as standard Bodyslide sliders. Do remember that how "big" or "small" your people will be will depend more on your choices in Bodyslide than which body type you choose. 4. Getting scaling to work means working with the mods that cause it. Carefully read and follow the directions given. 5. I don't use ENB, (I use ENBoost). Someone will come along and talk to you about ENB choices I am certain. Unasked for advice. A lot of what can make or break the looks of your people are textures and there are a number of them out there. I have been most impressed with Demoniac's (found here on LL). If you want some idea of what my suggestions look like look at the pictures in my mods (links are in My Stuff in my signature - sorry the lighting isn't everything that it could be).
Grey Cloud Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 I'm not happy with how @Psalam has put things there. To be clear, CBBE and UUNP are not compatible with each other. Either is fully compatible with Skyrim and both have a wide range of armour and clothing mods available. Both CBBE and UUNP can be made to produce slim or 'top-heavy' females. Have a look on Nexus for armour and clothing mods or follower mods and note which body type they use then make your choice. Apart from perhaps the extremes there is no major obvious difference visually between CBBE and UUNP. I'm pretty sure Psalam uses CBBE while I definitely use UUNP. To get the armour clothing to fit the body properly, no clipping etc, then you need to use Body Slide and Outfit Studio. The operation is simple enough and has lots of tutorials. ENB choice is a personal thing. There are lots of different 'looks' in ENB presets - fantasy, bleak, etc. Again, look at presets on Nexus to get an idea of what is available and what tickles your fancy. Posts like this usually cause a stampede of 'I use this ENB so you should too' responses. That would be my advice for your first steps. Report back once you've had a look at CBBE vs UUNP and the various ENB presets.

Report back once you've had a look at CBBE vs UUNP and the various ENB presets. based on the armors i have been looking at i would say uunp would be the one i would prefer but again its all kind of confusing for me, since i don't know if any of the armors support say belly growth for pregnancy or if it saying unp instead of uunp is different or unpb and so on since even the armor mod i have been looking at is called book of uunp but then the actual files are listed for 7base(yet another body?) or unp or unpb, so kind of lost on all that. as far as bodyslide goes i have watched tutorials and tried multiple times to use it but i seem to always mess something up, for example in my last install despite following the guide step for step my devious devices don't fit the body correctly, some stuff floats on the body like it was twice its size, others clip into the body as if my character was 0 weight, and many of the regular game armor from the replacer the body preset recommended are not close in proportion even after following the bodyslide steps. and as for the enb, i like the way some of the fantasy presets look, but im also now skeptical about installing an enb simply cause some of the presets i have looked at mentioned frame rate drops and had pc specs quite a bit better than my own so there is that. anyway thank you for the input

Every body you mentioned in this paragraph is compatible.
